Good Morning, sun is out here, supposed to be a nice week end. Hope there are some nice week ends elsewhere, weatherwise, in the country, weather is so weird.

No news, same ole same ole here. Not sure what the day will bring, sure wish something exciting would pop up.

Wishing you all a really nice week end, those traveling stay safe. Don't forget the time changes this week end, loose an hours sleep, that always helps me each year NOT.

Vera, have wondered what part of N.C. you all are from?

Take care all,
CArol :)

good morning ladies
well, this next week is spring break and payday is at the end of it :( so.....stuck here this week with NO money to do anything. Stress
level is over the top and I believe I have another round of shingles broke out on the side of my neck. The last two times I had them, one
on the front rib cage and next time on the back rib cage near my spine, ouchy ouchy, they broke out over a weekend and lasted about
4 days. STRESS related cause soon as I was able to get back to work and I calmed down they were gone. Now this time on the side of my
neck and gonna be stressed all week. Another financial setback possibly but we will see. Wrote a big long post but decided to explain it
all needed its own title, so did that under Stressed?
ok, ya'll have a great day and be safe.

Sun is trying to break through the cloud cover but it's supposed to be warmer today. The snow piles are melting, maybe they won't be here in July! But supposed to be snowy or something later in the week. Ah well, March in PA. Up and down! Time change tonight. But even though I lose an hour of sleep, I love having longer evenings. Besides I can take a nap if I want! Need to get some housework done today or not. Guess it'll be here tomorrow if it doesn't get done today  Seems like a day to get out and go somewhere! I'll have another cup of coffee and think about it! Safe travels to you on the road. Sounds like lots of you are moving on to different locations.

We weren't prepared for the wind here yesterday when we went for a ride in the desert - and it is still blowing!!

We rode 5 days this week - some trails were pretty rough after rain washed them. Mexican poppies are in bloom as well as 3 varieties of cacti and wildflowers. Yellow brittle bush is so colorful - really brightens up the desert.

Today I am off to storage to dig out things for LeRoy to take to his church's rummage sale. Then I can sort, repack, etc.

My younger daughter in Washington has changed her plans for surgery this summer so I have 4+ months free. First 'date' is Flint Hills GTG in September tho I'll have to do medical and dental either before or after that (I do those things while visiting KS family). Thinking I'll head back to Alaska the end of May - new truck, solar and alone this time so will be different. L is also going with his camper so will meet up with him to do some things - particularly things I wouldn't do on my own. This had been my plan until I had such a busy summer, but I have 'recovered'. :D

I am always curious about those of you with shingles and whether you got the 'shingles shot'. We have someone here in the park with a bad case right now - in her eye like CArol. Not fun.

Hope you all have a grand day - safe travels to those on the road.

Yeh, Vera, We all know the groundhog never makes a mistake ;)  I always told DH if we were to move from here it would be easy Jan/Feb or Mar for me to leave! The rest of the year it's a beautiful place to live. With a dad and husband in the military I've been fortunate to experience lots of places in the US but love it here. Right now warm and way south sounds good!
