Oh my it is Pouring again today! This has not been a great weather year! I am as far back north as GA now, but hesitating due to the cold. I have an awesome new new propane space heater, it's much more efficient with the propane so that helps. But I got rid of my electric heater because it was overheating, thinking I could pick up another, and I'd be covered with electric hook up. Ha! There is not an electric space heater to be found anywhere.
Well, I'm in Okefenokee today, and determined that I will see the swamp since it's my last day here. I am going to be soaked, but I guess we just have to deal this winter.

It will take a little longer to warm up the farther north we travel.... :) Enjoy the sights that you can.

Mitch, I got a small Empire heater (not Buddy). It only cost about $150 and is terrific. I'll try looking at it to find a number on it. They make a lot of larger, home, far more expensive heaters. This one is really small, has stabilizing feet, and is quite efficient.

we used to have a catalytic heater runs off propane...more efficient than the furnace then we installed a fireplace that runs off propane
which is what I use for hear rarely use the furnace unless I run out of propane that is hooked up to the fireplace
