Thursday Morning...I Hate Cold Rainy Weather!!

Good Morning, all...

Yesterday was a lost day...as far as getting stuff done....Well, I got some stuff done....My hair cut and lunch with my Honey, but we had one of those cold & rainy days and I didn't feel so hot after we got back from town...so spent the rest of the day back in my PJs and wrapped up in my fluffy robe trying to keep warm... I think it was a 24hrs. bug of some kind cause other than being slow waking up, I feel better now... And the weatherbug has it warm and sunny for the weekend...

So today, after I get my butt going, I'll attack the weekly sweeping, dusting, and mop the floors... I've been doing some crocheting cause I just can't sit and do nothing....but will get busy today and do some activity other than sitting around...

Okay, I'm rambling so will get the coffee ready for ya'll and stop for now...

Mornin' Lori, Vera & all that follow. Sorry to hear about your 24 hr bug Lori, but glad you're feeling better.

Warm up coming to the Chitown area this weekend - mid 30's to 40*. Bet I see guys out wearing shorts. Spring is slowly coming. Changing of the clocks this weekend. Always messes with the animals, but not as bad as in the fall when they think they're going to starve Hate losing that 1 hr of sleep.

Hope everyone has a great day. And stay safe on the roads. Seems some are slowly starting to head back north & east. Don't rush. Winter's not over yet.

Hopefully warmer weather is on our way, I don't know how much longer I can stand this white stuff. Makes it hard to do anything outside and that's where I make my living.

Good morning from wet and cool Ocala! It looks like it'll be raining here all day. In between the rains we've had some down pours. I'm thinking about Sarah as she had planned on leaving the L & S Resort today. Perhaps she'll wait until tomorrow to leave. Sarah, I hope your niece is ready for and responds to the chemotherapy. My thoughts are with all of you.

I did up a load of laundry this morning. It's so nice having the built in unit and not having to use the laundry facilities at the campground. Ham & pea soup is on the agenda for dinner this evening. Stop by if you're in the area.

I really feel for all of you with the cold wet winters. So glad I'm not part of that this year. Very lucky.

Liz and Thistle headed out this morning. We'll keep in touch and maybe see each other again before completely heading different directions. If all goes well I'll hopefully meet Deb on Saturday, maybe at a Pow Wow. Sunday I'll hit one of my all time favorite Farmer's Markets, then I think I'll head out myself for a few days. Next time I have to be anywhere isn't till the 25th when I have plans to meet up with some childhood friends.

Good soggy morning

Under tornado watch here until 7:00 tonight. I decided to ride out the storms in St Cloud instead of trying to out run it to get up to Rainbow Springs this afternoon where I was originally to be. I probably could have gotten north of the severe weather threat before it arrived but decided it wasn't worth taking that chance. Also hate having to try to get set up in rain/thunderstorm - really do not like handling wet electrical cords. Heavy rain coming down now and Nicky is not a happy camper. Weather for tomorrow and the rest of weekend looks very good, thankfully. Driving conditions tomorrow much more pleasant.

Took a nasty fall last night on hard concrete porch - got tangled in Nicky's leash. Lots of bruises and sore spots but everything still working so nothing broke - not even my glasses which is amazing. Linda was still at work and Sandy was gone to a rehearsal so was alone at the time. Fortunately there was a heavy metal chair nearby and I used it to help me get back to my feet.

Will check back in after storms clear later tonight.

Just after noon here. Already put in 3 hours of work and will go back for the evening shift at 5pm. It is warmer today but with the strong winds, it feels really bitter! Supposed to get freezing drizzle/snow later on. The temps will be in the mid to upper 30's tho for the next week now, so that will feel really good (if it isn't so windy! ). I also have seen someone in shorts just the other day!

There is a 50's drive-in diner across the street from me, and they opened up for the season yesterday! They had to plow all the snow away from the menu/speaker stands in the parking lot. Don't know why they open so early. The DQ opened in January. Neither of them have any indoor seating.

Sarah, glad you held off on driving today. Better safe than sorry! And you will be sore for a few days I am sure, after that fall. Hope things go well with your niece this week.

Definitely past noon here, but while I am on my friends computer, just wanted to say hi. Still waiting for mine to get repaired. Found out more wrong than originally anticipated, so need a couple of more things done. Hope to have it back by early next week.

Been beautiful weatehr here, but really cold nights, -15-20 below. Brrrr. Not much snow to speak of. Have about 3 feet on ground, so won't be seeing that for awhile. Getting spring fever. Think it's going to be time to head Up North for a little break. Afte I get computer back.

So will have to do a lot of catch up on here and those of you who I talk with on Facebook, hang in there, I will be back eventually.

hi..i followed this post today..off & on...we're in SC and gettin pounded..blown..a day..all nite..i sure am glad you didn't travel in it..nxt winter we hope to be at Suwannee state park..doing volunteer work for those months..
