MONDAY Morning

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

MONDAY Morning

Good Morning from sunny Orlando! Another sunny, warm morning is upon us here as I await the carpenters to return and resume their ripping, tearing, and re-fitting new stuff. St. Cloud was also beautiful Saturday and Sunday, and I managed to sneak in a nice visit with Linda, Sandy, Sarah, and Donna at the Sisters' Estate Campground! The kids and I did our play time on Saturday night with a marathon game of cross-country croquet whilst listening to bluetooth-speakered music around the course. After my visit yesterday to the girl RVers, I mowed the kids' back field. Then home I came. I would like to get to the pool today here at the clubhouse. Those of you in that snow belt, hang on once again for more ice is along with the white stuff. This was a good winter to spend down here!

Happy travels!

Good Morning everyone, I am still in Lake Wales until March 23 then I will be meeting up with some Escappees Boondockers in northern Florida. I was not paying attention when I was leaving the Lake Wales Mardi Gras on Saturday and backed into a bright yellow pole and broke one of my back lights. So off to the Ford dealer today for a quote. I am in love with the Wonderbag so I will be making beef stew for dinner. I brought the bag for boondocking but find that I use it at least twice a week and I am hooked up.
With the weather that my family is getting in Maryland, I am happy to be in Florida.

Good morning
I had to look the Wonderbag up, Louise. Interesting device; good to know it works well.
Donna, thanks for the blog update. Glad you missed getting shots of all that food which was shameful. Thanks for the geocache lesson.
I've got a few photos from yesterday but still on camera. Will try to transfer and post later.
Have a great day

I'm so glad you mentioned the Wonderbag, Louise. I've been eyeing that on Amazon!

I too am off for repairs today -- the last large wind dropped a tree branch on the van's roof. Shouldn't be too bad.

Have a good day, everybody!

Good Morning !! Hey Kathleen, supposed to be 84 here today, went and got some shorts out. Except for the weather north of us, weather here is getting to the point, I'm ready to head north, if I could  !!!

Watched a rodeo on TV yesterday, and to all of you ladies who think you are too old to do the RV lifestyle, I have news for you. There was a 70 yr old woman who beat all kinds of competitions to participate in the "American" competition yesterday for a million dollars. She loads and hauls her own horse, plus trains horses for sale. She beat out many of those young chicks, this just proves my point, age is in your mind if you let it and if you have a desire to do something do it or at least try !!!! Don't ever give age as an excuse to not do what is in your dreams. Health issues might slow us down, but they don't have to stop us, its just a detour if we make it that. Right ?????? Several times lately I have read of some of you thinking or wondering are you to old to travel as you have dreamed of, especially newbies, No you are not, if you want to!!!

Off my soap box, :D ;) Will be spending another day here a lone, think I should try to do something worth while for a change, not sure what. No children here and my sis and dh have routine where everything is always just so, so, not much left for me to do. Feeling better and tired of setting around doing nothing, that's never been my cup of tea.

Hope you all have a good day, stay safe, for those of you who are up in that nasty stuff, stay inside if possible, it looks awful on the t.v.

CArol :)

Good morning all,
Thanks for the pep talk CArol! I think I needed that. And yes, the weather has been quite awful, we had a couple of inches of freezing rain/sleet yesterday and about 3 inches of snow last night. Temps were a frosty 10 degrees this AM. :( But the sun is out and warming trend on the way hooray!! We may not get out of the house for another day but a lot of business are closed along with all schools and the University. Poor teachers, the students will be going to school way into June they have missed so many days this year.
I just washed a couple of pairs of jeans for about the sixth time and this time my washer and dryer are a lovely shade of blue :? I been washing them hoping to soften them up as they feel really stiff. I've bought this brand( Croft & Barrow) at Kohls several times before and never had this happen. Anyone else have this happen? I was at an RV park at Patricks Point, CA one time and the washer there turned all my clothes blue! They had wells or some sort of water system they had to treat somehow and something went wrong. They did reimburse me a bit.
The dogs are finding little patches of sun to nap in this morning between their many trips out to explore in the snow.
