Thursday Morning

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Thursday Morning

Postby Irmi » Thu Feb 27, 2014 8:52 am

Good morning everyone!

It's another cool, damp morning in Ocala. I woke up 4:30 and it was 46 degrees and it's still the same temperature. We're going to struggle to get into the 60's today, but starting tomorrow, the sun will come out and the weekend is going to be gorgeous.

A pot roast just went in the crockpot, so with some kind of potatoes, gravy & a veggie, that will be our dinner.

It's neat hearing about Betty's campground, one that Carold is familiar with and close to Martha. And Lori and Ernie will be staying there, too. Hopefully someday we'll also visit that area. I hope the cold weather breaks for those still fighting with old man winter. Have a good day everyone.

Good Morning
I've finished off the coffee, took trash to dumpster, walked Nicky and still moving like a slug this morning. Need to get it in gear as have to move again today. At least it is NOT raining so lucky there. And my prescription should be ready to pick up by the time I reach St Cloud.
Have a good one.

Good Morning, grey looking outside, but the week end will be nice they are saying, so nice for the working people, for a change Hope you all have a good day, no matter where you are or what your weather is. Its pretty bad in some places again, it too shall pass, hang in there.

My days are about the same, no plans, but think I might have caught this soon enough and it won't be hanging around forever, (crossed fingers)

Just wanted to wish everyone a great day.

CArol :)

Good Morning All, So far it is light drizzles...am hoping for more. "They" have been fighting to break up California into two or three states for years! No one can agree on the boundaries.
Hey, I too have stayed at Bettys RV Park. Have a great day all. lyn

It's nice and sunny but cool today. It's suppose to get close to freezing again tonight and then warm up. Then another cold front next week. Is this winter ever going to give up?

I'm waiting for my son to get here so we can start taking out the carpet. If I had something that I thought would cut it I would already be working on it.

Snowball has another abscess that broke open by his tail. This is the third or fourth abscess he has had. He is such a little sh*# and instigator I know why he gets bit. Of course the vet is usually off on Thursday. They are going to call me if he comes in or I can bring him in the morning. I could tell he wasn't his usual wild self for a couple of days but I couldn't see anything wrong with him.

CArol, I hope you don't have any more problems with the shingles. I never heard of it until a few years ago and now I hear about a lot of people having it. I took the shot last year even though I had to pay almost $200. You would think they would want you to take the shot so you don't catch the shingles. I'm sure the shot would be a lot cheaper than having to treat it.

Sunny but windy and cold as a you-know-what here in IL today. My dogs are going stir crazy not being able to get outside longer than potty breaks! Just so tired of this abominable weather.
Any day spent in the company of my animals is a good day.

-15

I had Coco's owner come over on Monday night to discuss what we need to do for him. He still wants to try to do whatever to keep Coco alive. I told him there is nothing more that can be done and it is best to let him go. He was going to call his vet the next day and discuss it with him. I have not heard back from him, so I am going to make the decision for him. I have an appointment tomorrow morning with my vet to have Coco put to sleep. I know Paul won't be happy about that at all, so I am going to just tell him that Coco died in his sleep. I hate to lie, but this needs to be done and soon. I just can't watch this little sweet guy suffer anymore. (I hope I am doing the right thing.)

We have a haircut sale starting today, so I will be heading in to work shortly. Not looking forward to going outside...

Have a good day!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

I'm sorry you have been put in the position you are in Barbie. I understand your feelings and I agree you need to do what is best for Coco.

It is sunny today, supposed to be 50 Sat. then Sunday the forecast is for significant icing. I can't believe this winter!! I am going absolutely nuts with itchy dry skin, the dew point has been at like -0 who knew it could even go that low in IL !!

I've heard of Betty's RV park for years, I'd like to go there sometime in a normal winter! Don't think I could do LA in the summer.

Definitely doing the right thing for Cocoa, Barbie, and actually for his owner, too, as it will absolve him from having to make that heart-rending decision. Sending strength your way.

Rained during the night last night, a bit cloudy today, but temps were at 72 and was a really nice day. Raining tonight and will drop to 60 tonight, but I will survive this change in the weather. :D
