Stuart and I were able to tour Fort Davis after taking a side trip south of I-10. Much more interesting off I-10! :)

Thanks, Stuart & Tina, for the tour of the old fort.....must say Stuart looked quite at home in the officer quarters... ;) Can't wait for the next installment of your travels...

Thanks Tina for the interesting pictures of the Fort Davis area. Did you avoid getting "the cold"? I am almost over mine now, thank heavens. lyn

Knock on wood........I haven't got it, though I know you would have thoughtfully shared if I had wanted the cold. Nikki and I had our chance with Karen's, too! We worried about you and I tried to text you until Nikki reminded me that she didn't think you used text messages. :o  But then if you were back down in Pipe Organ NM you weren't worrying about keeping in touch with the world. :) Were you able to meet up with your friends near Tucson?

It should be a good ime to see Big Bend....perhaps the cactus will be blooming. Drive the Dagger Flat Road with the car.

Did you make it to the state park right up the road? I remember sharing my site there with javalina's. Love revisiting the fort with you.
