Good morning Lori & everyone that follows!

Lori, thanks for the breakfast! What a great way to start the day! I mentioned to Steve just yesterday that I knew you & Ernie would be watching the race today.

It's very gray and overcast this morning but at least it's not raining. No particular plans for today. Hopefully we can sit out this afternoon and read.

Hope we can boondock in the desert! That was so relaxing last year!!!

Just a totally UNREAL winter! Very brave Barbie to tackle that trip! I don't see how anyone can get anywhere in all that snow! I'm sure your cousin was so happy to see you....

Good Morning ladies
@Carolb..don't know if I'll be in it or not but thats just around the time I'll be trying for.
Its a little overcast this morning but its broken so I'm sure it will burn off as the day wears on. I did get lots accomplished yesterday in
the "going through papers" dept. I amazed myself cause I was on the computer too
Sausage gravy n biscuits sounds mighty good for breakfast but I'm gonna have to settle for a bowl of cereal. But I can taste it virtually :P
Time for another cup of coffee and on to start my bath. Ya'll have a great day and be safe. Hope everyone is having good weather for a change. At least spring is in the air.

Morning all. yum, breakfast sounds good! Thanks, Lori! going to be a crazy week here, I think. Son and DIL brought their Rottie to me yesterday so I can pupsit this week. Geez, not two but three big boys! A few minutes ago 2 of them were racing around the table and I do mean racing! Think I have my own NASCAR thing going here! Yeh, think it's going to be an interesting week. Sun is out right now but guess it's supposed to rain or snow later. Good thing is that the couple of warmer days melted a good bit of the snow piles. The mess at the end of driveway is pretty well gone and it was packed ice. The snowplows throw it up and blocks it. I've been able to drive over it so I was able to get in and out. Maybe it's good that I have a Subaru! I remember getting hung up on it in my van a few winters ago, that was fun! Nothing like getting stuck in your own driveway! I'm already thinking about when I can get the RV dewinterized. I need to call to make an appointment. They'll be busy soon and it'll be an all day thing. I found a place about 60 miles from here and they've been great to work with. Ok, time for more coffee...have a fun Sunday, everyone.

Good Morning Ladies,

Just got back from having breakfast at local restaurant. Went out to get the Sunday paper and thought that breakfast out sounded good this morning. French toast and bacon hit the spot.

Am feeling better this morning, but am just taking the day off again. Did get out a bit yesterday as I had about 4 inches of snow in drive to clear out and also Sassy's potty area, the took a run to town for milk and a few things I was running out of. Sassy also got a walk in the warm sun.

Found out on the news last night, that the recent winter storm, Seneca, the came through here on Friday with it's high winds, has broken up most of the ice cover on Lake Michigan. So now we are facing more lake effect snow and lake effect clouds again. And with the cold air coming in this week, it will be snowy. Cold cand blustery out there now as is. Glad to see that some of you are starting to get some spring like weather though.

Cheryl, what brand of trailer is that 2020QB you are interested in? Think I remember seeing you post something about it awhile back, but forgot what it was.

Irmi, congrats to you and Steve on your new house on wheels. Next thing we know, you will be selling the S&B and going full time :)

Ava, hang in there. Before you know it, you will be in your 5er, setback or no setback. You've done a fantastic job so far.

I'm working with a couple of dealers about getting a new set of wheels for me to tow a TT with. Waiting for figures to decide what I am going to do.

So, guess I will head off and do some more reading on the forum here. Want to send a blanket welcome out to all the new ladies who have joined. I've been reading many of your introductions and know you are all dreaming or your first rig or heading out in one. Such excitement ahead for all of you. Want to wish everybody a wonderful Sunday. Enjoy the races Ernie and Lori :)

Good Morning from Yuma,

We spent yesterday running errands in Yuma. LeRoy is off to Mass this morning and I will be meeting Beth and Liz a little later for lunch along with Jenny. Then L and I will see friends to ride with for the next few days. I so enjoyed our desert time Thursday and Friday!

We spent the night at the casino - haven't been inside yet. Trucker towing flatbed trailer load is out on the trailer doing his push ups - good for him!!

Such exciting purchases with MH for Irmi and hot tub for Sharon!! The Cake Lady did such a fantastic job on that RZR cake!! Ava, your move will happen!!

Carolb, I'll see you whenever you come thru Arizona!! Looks like I'll be going back to the park in Salome so I'll be ready for a break from there any time!! Just give me approximate dates when you have them.

Have a good day all!

Good morning
The sun is out here but it took it all morning to burn thru the heavy fog that covered the area this morning. Looks like a mostly pretty day with chance of thunderstorm this afternoon. Nicky is not a happy camper in stormy weather.
It must be pill problem day. I had 2 blood pressure meds filled on 12/30 both should have been for 90 days. Left home confident I had enough tho I never count pills when I pick up prescription. Just noticed that I only have 5 days worth left on one prescription. Appears they shorted me more than 30 days worth of the more expensive one. Don't know how I'm going to get that resolved from here but know insurance is not going to allow a refill yet as they charged me for the 90 days. Will call Publix pharmacy in a little while but am very concerned about this as I know I cannot go a month without those pills.
Cleaning question: Does anyone have suggestion for removing coffee stains from the plastic kitchen RV sinks? I've tried Dawn and some baking soda but that did not do the trick.
Enjoyed a visit from Donna, Linda and Sandy yesterday in spite of the thunderstorms. While very heavy rain, it did not last all that long so did not spoil the day.Hopefully the afternoon rains will not interfere with races at Daytona today.
Time to give Nicky a little stroll.
Have a good day.

..

Sarah, see if you can get your doc to call in another prescription to a pharmacy near you and then get one of those discount pharmacy cards available to everyone. There are two apps for the iPad and I used them without issue when I was having a similar issue with my new cancer drug prior to the Baja trip. You just actually show your iPad to the pharmacist, if I recall correctly. I used mine at a Walmart pharmacy and it was quite a savings...

It's still very foggy here but no rain yet. I think most of the rain is North and East of us. There are quite a few flood watches. Some for Florida. I'm not familiar with the counties in Florida so don't know what area.

I fixed the potatoes that are on Facebook recently. Boil small potatoes, smash them and cook with olive oil, seasoning and cheese. The jury is till out on them. The parmesan cheese I have is the sliced kind instead of the shredded kind. It got really brown instead of melting. And I didn't have enough seasoning on them. DH said to put bacon bits on them. He likes bacon on everything.

Sarah, I saw a tip for cleaning the white sinks recently that said to dissolve Oxiclean in hot water and let it sit overnight. I need to try it because my sink needs cleaning too.

No NASCAR for me. I can watch horses work cattle 2 !/2 minutes all day long but not car races. I guess you have to know the drivers and cars to make it interesting. We know some of the riders and the horses. My sister's boys are into cars and racing. About 15 minutes of them arguing about car parts is all I can take and I retire to my camper.

I just wonder what kind of flooding there is going to be when all the snow and ice up North starts melting. Last year they were worried about the Mississippi River being too low for boat traffic. I hope it can take all the water that's coming.

Thanks, Mitch. I'll look into that option. However in the meantime I have a resolution to the pill problem.
I found a receipt from shopping at Publix in St Cloud last week. Called them this morning to confirm they have a pharmacy. Have talked to Publix in Huntsville. Had wanted them to authorize FL Publix to replace the 36 missing pills but they said couldn't do that. She called Blue Cross for me and got BC to approve an early refill then transferred prescription to St Cloud Publix. Just got off phone with St Cloud store and they will have prescription ready for me on Thursday (that is my next move day and I'm headed that way). I'll have to go ahead and pay full copay but at least it is resolved. When I get back to Huntsville, Publix there will replace the missing pills at no charge. Still don't understand why they simply could not have just paid FL pharmacy to replace pills but I'm a happy camper again even if I did have to waste most of a pretty Sunday morning.

Had fun visiting with Sarah and Donna yesterday. Missed Miss Mermaid - do not think she was home while we were there.

It has warmed up so much I am sitting under the ceiling fan with a cold Diet Coke wondering when the next cold spell will come through!

Hi Sue it's a Keystone Summerland http://www.keystonerv.com/summerland/#/floorplans

Went to 3 dealers yesterday looking at trucks. Geez they're expensive. New, I'd be taking a loan for $45,000 :o , so looks like the dream is going to have to wait a bit longer.

Sarah, I lost my bottle of my antidepressants last week after just getting 3 months worth the week before. I was able to get one months worth thru my insurance company. Luckily, I found the other bottle underneath a blanket on my bedroom floor yesterday (hmmm...I think there was a ferret involved in that disappearance! ).

Speaking of ferrets, I contacted Coco's owner tonight and he is coming over tomorrow evening. Coco is not doing well and we need to make a decision about him soon. Hopefully, I can get him to agree to send him to the Rainbow Bridge. I found another tumor on him the other day.

I watched the closing ceremony for the Olympics tonight. It was pretty cool, but I wonder how many millions of dollars it cost to put that all together. Seems like such a waste when there are so many poor people in that area and across the country. Luckily, the threat of terrorism never materialized.

Was a very busy day at work today! Did 19 haircuts! I guess it is good practice for next weekend when we have our $7.99 haircut sale! Will be super busy for that!

Hope you all had a good day! Saw that the Daytona race got halted for a tornado warning for awhile. Hopefully, the weather wasn't too bad for those of you down south.
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
