Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Yesterday I found out one of my cousins (actually my mom's cousin) is in a care facility recovering from two broken legs from a bad fall. I decide to drive up to see her today. The care facility is just north of Minneapolis so is usually a 40 minute drive from me. It took me about 2 hours! I didn't realize how bad the roads still are! Felt like I was off-roading with the Jeep! Couldn't go more than 35 mph on the freeways. Had the 4WD on the whole time. The freeways and pretty much all roads are snow/ice packed and feels just like driving on washboard dirt roads. On the way home, a lot of it started melting and was a big slushy mess! My black Jeep is completely white with salt, even on the roof! I had to use my ice/snow scraper to clean off all the ice and sludge that got packed up under the wheel wells. What a mess!

Did have a great visit with my cousin tho! She is a sweetheart and is so much like my mom. I guess she has been there for 6 weeks already and I just found out. Our family needs to communicate better!

I guess we are heading back into the deep freeze again! I am so tired of this winter!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Barbie, bless your heart for doing what you did, especially in the weather conditions you went out in. I'm so glad you had a good visit with your cousin.
