Wickham Park 2nd Time (Melbourne, FL) 2/19- 26, 2014

I have made reservations to come back to Wickham Park for a second week - arriving on Wednesday 2/19 and departing on Thursday 2/27.
Hope some of you can stop by during that week. I will start a slow track northward from here.

I am here for the next week (17th) and then making a bee line for Ft. Myers, got to be warmer weather there.

I don't think I'll be able to stay over, but will definitely try to drive over this weekend for a visit. Have to get an oil change in the car Sat morning. Nothing else planned except to come over and bug y'all.

I was just there Monday the 17th. Met MissMermaid and had a great talk. I'm hoping to get over for a short weekend. If I knew how to post pics I'd show you proof I was there.

If it weren't for your pic of her rig, I would never have found her. My decision to stop was last minute and her email was down. I parked my 31' in front of her rig and got out, looked at my phone to see if she emailed me back and started to go when she came out with Harley!

I was able to score a site at Wickham for one night so far...(tonight)
chatted with MM and Sarah this afternoon and went for a few doggie walks
now I am tired and it is only 7:30pm...I have to check out by noon tomorrow
but will spend the afternoon parked in the main park area just behind where MM
site is...no pic yet...

We had a nice lazy afternoon just visiting.

I left the campground at 12 noon checkout time today... after visiting with MM
And Sara.... Along with a couple of dog walks...
stopped over at the home park for awhile... waiting on the storm to hit
So far haven't had much of a storm.... will go back over tomorrow afternoon when Linda and sayingSandy come over... then will try on Monday to get a site for a couple of nights... that's my plan so far...

You got out just in time Donna.

First heavy thunderstorm hit Wickham a little after 1:00. Didn't last long but sure dropped some rain and noisy thunder sent Nicky into hiding. Second round was just some light rain; then another band of thunder and heavy rain a little after 3:00. Stopped for now but looks like it might kick back up any minute..

Sure was glad I got over to bath house to wash hair this morning. Needed the wind/sun to dry it as no plugs for hair dryer.
