Fresh Snow Tuesday

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Fresh Snow Tuesday

Postby Colliemom » Tue Feb 18, 2014 7:44 am

Morning everyone,

Blanket of fresh white snow out there this morning. Can't really tell how much, maybe 4-5 inches. So will be cranking up the blowers later on. Have my month chiropractor appt. this morning and then a couple of errands to run. Snow will be here when I get home.

Happy to report that Sassy had good results at vet yesterday. Liver enzyme has dropped from a high of 201 down to 116, 100 being normal. So we will continue the medication for another two months and then another blood test to follow. Also has gained a pound and a half in weight.

Couple of you asked questions about my lease vehicle. When you are under lease contract, you can't just stop anytime. You woe a certain amount of money to the company and it must be paid. So I will either pay the remainder of lease amount or forget it. Decided to wait till later this spring and then go from there. Leasing is a good way to keep yourself in a new under warranty vehicle and enables you to get a new one every three years or however long your lease if for. It has it's pros and cons and everybody needs to figure it out for themselves. I took a lease on my current ride cause I didn't know if I would like one enough to buy right then and there. But it will all work out down the line.

Time to get dressed and get on the road here. So wishing you all a wonderful day out there.

Good Morning Sue and Everyone, so glad to hear the news about Sassy, know it was a relief for you yesterday. Its beautiful outside here, no snow  I'm still not feeling up to par, so really don't care what weather is, sun makes spirits better though. I was so happy to hear Sassy's news so even though I have no news to add, thought I could at least wish everyone a good morning and hope your day is a good one.

Those on the road, enjoy and keep the blogs coming :D

Take care, Stay safe,
CArol :)

Good morning
Glad Sassy is doing better . Carol: Sure hope you get back up to par soon. Am still hoping to see you next week.
Today is my last day at the L&S resort in St Cloud; will move to Wickham tomorrow for a week. I have really enjoyed my stay here. So peaceful and quite plus great company.
Sandy and I went out late yesterday for a quick errand and while out discovered a restaurant with sign saying "grooper caught and cut today" . We had to stop and took advantage of the early bird special. It was perfectly cooked. What a treat.
Weather has been near perfect also - a bit on the cold side at night still but at or near 70 by mid afternoon.
It has warmed up a lot at home too but by Thursday the entire state of AL is to be under threat of widespread tornados. Weather man still telling me not to be in too big a hurry to head home.
Have a great day.

I also woke up to more snow today. Actually heard thunder last night just before midnight. And the wind was awful, I had snow on my back porch clear up to the back door. It isn't completly closed in but in the years we've lived here I don't think I remember snow clear up to the door. And lots of branches laying around in the snow. Glad I slept through it! Wasn't snowing when I went out for the paper but it's started again.

Glad to hear Sassy had a good report at the vet yesterday. Sounds like the numbers are going the right direction. Carol, hope you feel better, sun is good!

Well, time for another cup of coffee (or two) before I go out and tackle the sidewalk and driveway! Hope everyone stays warm and if you are on the road, be safe.

Good mornin' ladies!

Good news about Sassy Sue. I'll trade you the 4-5" of snow for my 12" (was supposed to be 3-6"), but thunder snow made more snow. Shoveled for 3 hrs last night (not all at once), and of course have to shovel again this morning because the driveway is plowed in. :x

Enjoy your time at Wickham Sarah.

Stay safe on the roads everyone and stay warm everyone else. What is it now 30 some days till Spring?

Trying to get moving here but it sure is hard! Company coming today but I sent a note not to get in a hurry, it's foggy as heck and not burning off very fast. Not unusual for here. Still tired from my red-eye flight from Florida, the girls are just gonna have to excuse the train wreck here. LOL! Glad Sassy's numbers came back good. Chewy's itchy as heck, wondering what she got into while I was gone. Will try a bath and see if that helps. Carol, hope you get to feeling better! Gotta run, hope that's the end of the snow for some of you!

It got over 40 today! Very nice out! Everyone seems to be in a better mood today. But just got an alert from Weather Bug that we have another snowstorm coming for late tomorrow night thru Thursday. Well, it is that time of year for snowstorms. And we do need the moisture.

Glad to hear the good news on Sassy! Coco is still hanging in there. Still wants to play and hide his stuffed animals, but just gets tired quickly. Chelsea and Lola Kitty are getting to be good buddies and playmates. So fun to watch them play tag and hide and seek

Have a good afternoon/evening! :D
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
