Want to be a FULLTIMER. Suggestions welcome

I am a teacher and want to retire early and RV full time. I am in good health and willing to workamp or looking for other suggestions to support what I hope to be my serious RV habit.

Welcome! You've come to the right place. Several retired teachers on here, several workampers here, and quite a few fulltimers, so you should be able to get lots of info. Feel free to ask questions!

Do you have an RV yet?

I left my career to RV in 2007. I have been a full time RVer since the fall of 2009, divorced in the spring of 2010, and a solo RVer/workamper ever since. I should be in an upcoming article in Workamper News Magazine. If you subscribe, watch for it. I love talking to women who want to RV! Ask away :D

If you are new to Rving, you might want to look into some of the rallies that offer training/lectures.
Just found out there is one next month in GA sponsored by FMCA (Family Motor Coach Ass'n, I think).

I took off for a year in 2005 and never looked back - so have been full-time all this time - with absolutely no knowledge of what I was getting into. Lots of good info on here - and good people to help. Let me and others know if you have specific questions we might be able to answer. And use the search feature on here - most everything has been discussed somewhere before - and believe me, most of us will be happy to discuss again.

You gals are all awesome. I look forward to making some new relationships. I'll stay in touch. PS, where can I find one of those state maps where you track where you've stayed?

Welcome to the forum. I'm new here too and in the process of looking for a travel trailer for full-time living. I've gotten some great advice and lots of support here.
