It looks like a great time will be had!!..you all enjoy the day I will think of you and wish that I had read correctly
so that I could have planned better...
I think I won't come on Sat...as it sounds like everything was going to be later.

I'm here! :D

Had a rough trip getting here even though I did not have very far to go, but I drove to two Laundromats and BOTH were closed. What a pain, especially how hard it is to maneuver this monster into and out of small parking lots! Hit one curb, which I do not like to do. At that point I decided to give up and just live another few days with what I have and washing stuff out in my tiny sink. It has been two weeks since I have done laundry, so I am getting really desperate.

Anyway, got all set up and am relaxing.

Lyn, your site (50) is right next to me. I pulled in as far as I could go and I think two reasonably sized vehicles can park in front on me.

I think only one arriving tomorrow is Birdbybird, so stop by when you get settled. Is anyone else coming tomorrow? I think rest will be arriving on the 9th, right?

I am in Quartzsite tonight and you are welcome to borrow my car tomorrow afternoon for a laundry visit. I know how special it feels to catch up on laundry after a couple of weeks accumulation..... :)

Such a minor detail, but I am NOT bringing the meringue pie. I think someone else is. I'll bring veggies or something. :-)

I'll see you all on Sunday. I may drive up Saturday and see my brother for dinner, or not. Can't make up my mind. I'll be staying the night somewhere though, as it's a 3 hour drive to where I'm parked for the next few months.

See you all then!

Ava, I can cover paper plates, utensils and throw away glasses.

I have had a change in plans and won't arrive until Sunday. Since I don't have a site there, I'm going to check out a casino for overnight Saturday. :D

I already bought utensils and paper plates. Don't have any glasses, however.

Anita, do you have a spot or will you still be in overflow?

Also, I am renting a car Monday morning through Thursday afternoon, so will do my laundry then. Thanks, anyway.

FYI, there is a grocery store, Bashas, about three miles away on Ellsworth rd and Brown rd. Ellsworth is the road into the park. If you don't have one of their cards, just ask the cashier to put one in for you.

It is really beautiful here--one of my favorite parks. Not a good place for sleepwalkers, however, as you will bump into a lot of big cacti!

I'm looking forward to getting to meet you all. I made some chocolate chip cookies to bring. I'll be coming over from near Wickenburg which is about an 1 1/2 drive from Usery and I'll probably shoot for getting there around 10:30am depending on traffic and such. I am bringing Gypsy but she may end up staying in the truck if she doesn't quit being a bad girl. I would leave her with my mom but she is going through some separation anxiety issues so it's better if I just bring her along (especially for my mom's nerves..lol). I might try to check out a few rv dealers near there after lunch since they are open until about 4pm I think but it depends on how much fun we are having chatting.

Thanks for the photos, Ava.
Another great gtg. Any cookies left? My sweet tooth just kicked in big time thinking about them.
