It's Friday.......Where is the sunshine?

It is still raining and chilly out. Thought there was to be sun and warmer today but sure doesn't look like it right now.
Nan said she got some good photos of inside her new rig posted on FB. Maybe she will get a few over here. It really is awesome. Think she decided to name it SECRET.
Hope everyone has a better weather day. I'm getting tired of cold and wet.

Good Morning Sarah... AH the sun is coming and mild weather also... these next few days for the GTG should be very nice. I am still bundled up here but after a while and a shower I will head out on my trike with Shadow... I have not ridden these past two days so onward and upward I will go!
A note to those that have been praying for one of our pastors Jerry. They are going to remove the breathing tube today because of the steady blood tests. They believe his muscles will be strong enough to take over. To me it seems scary so I know the family needs support as does he. Thank you
Sunday is the target day for Michael to fix my roof. Believe it or not this is the first good spell since the leak. So glad it has a tarp over it.
Thinking of all the ladies at the FL GTG. It is also good to see more GTG's in the West! Seems to be contagious!!

We have the sun here! Unfortunately I don't think it is going to last long. Rain and freezing rain in our forecast, ACK is this winter ever going to let up. Not doing much today I had a stomach virus or food poisoning Wednesday and still not feeling 100%. Need to get busy though or will get used to lazing around.
I see Mitch is headed home. I think maybe she just misses Vickie's cooking and will stop there to be consoled with comfort food after not finding Pedro. Wish I could be with Tina and Lyn in San Diego!!

Cold and really windy here at Glamis! Yikes! Probably the last trip of the year to the sand and I'm pretty well stuck in the rv today. Should be better tomorrow, I hope. Looks like the Fla gtg is going well in spite of cool weather. Not much keeps the rv'ing girls down for long! LOL! Kind of like the post office...neither cold nor ice nor sleet...LOL!

Okie dokie, gonna go see if I can get some of the girls interested in a game of cards or something! Stay warm and travel safe!

I remember the first FL gtg I attended. The snowman Liz made for a hood ornament.....and the Card games in CArol's rig where I really got to meet everyone while we all had fun and stayed warm.

I'm finally back home. Flight didn't take off from Tampa until 10:45pm and we landed in Minneapolis at 1:45am. Kind of a shock to the system to be back in subzero snowy weather! We got a lot of snow here while I was gone. Big snowbanks all over, compared to when I left. Gotta clean off my car before going in to work here shortly. Still tired...

Animals were all glad to see me, especially my kitty, Lola! Slept right beside me all night which she never does. Coco has lost more weight so will see what I can do for him to help remedy that this next week. I brought him back a little stuffed manatee which he seems to like. He promptly carried it off to his "special place" with his other stuffed toys.

I sure hope this weather starts getting better soon! All this next week will be highs in the single digits and low teens. Average for this time of year is mid to upper 20's.

Glad the FL GTG is still going strong. Hopefully, with the warmer dryer weather coming in, they can get outside and have some adventures! Nan is probably ready for a break from having all that company "breaking in" her new rig!

EDIT: Well, so much for me having a great day . Went out to sweep off my car and let it run. It filled up with smoke inside and smoke coming out of the hood. So the towtruck guy is on his way and I am waiting for a ride to work...sigh

Oh, Barbie, I hope it's not major.

Liz and I kayaked this morning and are now in Mulege for a couple hours. I snuck in that last blog post from the restaurant when Liz couldn't get online to do anything. So here I play and she's uploading pics.

Tonight I'm fixing shrimp. I'm so going to miss the fresh fish, etc brought to us on the beach. Next trip I still be down here for the season. I can be a beach bum with the best of them. Carol and the driver are doing a pretty convincing job of bringing with to the mainland next year. Not sure I can afford it, but it's a serious thought.

Well, it's almost 5pm, but have been busy all day...got my moving cleaning done...the sun is out and it's about 55F....life is looking up....

We head to our old "stomping grounds" tomorrow at Ft. Stewart....it will be good to see the gang there again.....I think it's expected of us to come stay awhile ever year....like a 2nd or 3rd home.....we're trying a different site this time...not so much under the GA pines....those of you who have visited us there, it's the site on the curve.....I so need the sunlight this time of year.....

Well, got to get ready for supper....
