We made it to a flea market, then a wonderful strawberry shortcake...and then and then ....on to the wine tasting. Of course we brought some home.

Looks like another great Florida gtg. Sorry to miss it, but sure don't miss the cold weather in the East. Hope the cold doesn't reach you. I love Nan's big secret! Can't wait to see it.

My picture taking ability is getting down right embarrassing. Only 3 of about a dozen shots from this mornings cold adventure out are even useable, those are from the flea market.. Apparently after that I hit the video button at the famous strawberry shortcake house - so instead of photos I have very bad videos.

Due to the cold, rainy windy weather few venders other than those offering produce set up this morning. The variety and quality of the produce was amazing. We found several items we could not identify and the venders (almost no one spoke English unless there was a child in the booth to talk for them) beyond words like vegetable to be boiled or fruit, eat raw.

The picture of our big strawberry shortcakes, Nan attacking a giant display strawberry hanging from ceiling and me on throne playing strawberry queen had to be tossed (part of bad video set).

Next stop was a winery where one could taste 2 wines for free or add more for a small charge. Several bottles of fruit wine left the building with us.

It has gotten colder as the day progressed and now the rain drops feel icy.

Thursday night - we are meeting at Nan's on site 39. It's potluck. A lot of the group are out shopping today. The rest of us are hibernating due to the rain. Glad you found a site
