Lost my Best Friend

Just found out that my best friend Carole, whom many of you have met, died last night in the hospital. She just got back from a 10 day cruise with her family and went directly into the hospital. Her ovarian cancer has not been getting better and she had tumors on her colon which were constricting it so she couldn't digest food. I talked to her yesterday morning and they were going to start her on new chemo today. Apparently she had a heart attack while in the hospital. We all knew she wasn't getting better but this was so quick and entirely unexpected. I'm so sad. She was like a sister to me and I will miss her dreadfully.

So sorry for your loss! So glad she got that cruise in before the "ultimate cruise" I know you are glad you got to talk to her. The quick departure could be a blessing. I'm sure she was suffering.
