Back on the Road

Postby BirdbyBird » Thu Jan 23, 2014 11:22 pm

Mitch and I are back on the road and have found some internet available. We are in Guerrero Negro and heading to Baja de los Angeles in the morning. We expect to be without internet again. We tried to purchase some additional time for our sticks but though we paid for the time, we are not quite certain how to activate it. There are times that the language barrier makes things tricky.....

I am behind in this travel story but will eventually get the pictures out there. One can only upload so many in an evening before ones eyes begin to close and/or the puppers complain that they need to be walk.....again.

Thanks, Tina. Must be nice to need to make shade; I vaguely remember that from the trip to Keys last year.
I especially like that last photo.

I know what you mean about the TelCel - when we purchase we always have them activate it too - but we always purchase from the TelCel service center
when the TelCel window comes up - (when you plug stick in) go to subscriptions then to 5050 and depending on how many GB you purchased enter the following for 3 GBS enter alto30
for 2 GBs enter medio30
for 1 GBs enter bajo30 even when you're out of GBs or days you should be able to get to subscription remember it for the amount of GBs or 30 days which ever comes first.

Thanks Carol, we had a difficult time even finding a store that would sell us the GB.....the first one sent us to another Telcel store front. Ensenada, of course, where we first purchased everything had enough tellers and clerks that could speak enough English to help us set everything up. We made be out of luck until we make our way back to San Quintin or Ensenada....
