We will be arriving Saturday afternoon. I'm sure we'll have cool mornings and evenings, but the middle of the day should be in the 70's or 60's. Been getting food purchased and cooking tomorrow. I like having a lot of things done (cookies, brownies, etc.) before I get there because my motor home kitchen is so small.

There is a large flea market in Webster on Monday and one in Plant City, maybe Wednesday.

Someone asked about WiFi: None of the FL state parks I've visited have it tho I think it might be available at restaurant near pool area (too long a walk for some of us)

I don't own a coat but have packed 2 pairs fleece PJs plus long robe (makes me look like a giant powder blue polar bear but it is warm), long johns and a silly hat. May not be high style but bet I can scar the rangers away.

HOWDY to all!

As some of you are aware, my Molly dog has been very sick and I was sure as of yesterday I would have to cancel. However, after a really good last night and a great morning (so far) she is keeping both food and water down is very peppy, and we are both feeling very happy today! I am thankful I didn't call to cancel my site yesterday, because as of now, I will be heading back to the trailer (from the house here in Orlando) tomorrow to pack, stow, fill propane tank, and hitch! We plan to head out on Sunday----Linda, Sandy, Donna, and I. I am going to leave a private message for all of them with my cell phone number so someone can call me and let me know where to meet them all for the start of the trip. I have a lot to do here today to wrap things up, get more meds for Molly, laundry, bath, and so on, but things are looking good as of right now!

I will be so sorry to not get to meet those who have had to cancel, but am really looking forward to seeing those who ARE!

Sure hope Molly stays well. Our little Buddy ate too much dog ice cream and was sick last night but he is better today. Look forward to seeing the caravan arrive on Sunday.

Jot down the sites on my first post -- that's the info everyone has posted about their site number and when they will be at the SP. I figure we'll connect Sunday and maybe have a nice campfire. Some arriving tomorrow and some of us coming in on Sunday.

In addition to warm clothes, I am bringing an oversized heating pad, a good sleeping bag to go on top of my blankets and a pair of wool socks. No way am I going to be cold at night. Margie is correct that it will be warm during the middle of the day so we'll need capri's to get us through the middle of the day!

Arrived about noon. Someone was on our site (we were early) so we just parked in the empty site next door and sat outside enjoying the warmer weather and sunshine. Such a beautiful day. Took Roger about 30 minutes moving the motor home around on our lot trying to find the exact spot to get satellite reception. Now he's happy.

Nan, Spring and Bear stopped by to say hello. Always good to see an RV Women friend... and her dogs.

Sun's going down and Roger just came in for his jacket. He loves to sit outside and watch TV.

I plan on leaving Lake Wales around noon. I have to go to Pilot or Camping World to get propane then I will head out. I won't be towing my car , hope I don't need it for anything. I changed my reservation to leave the 2nd like everyone else.
