In case you are not aware: If the water you drove through submerged your axle hubs you should have them checked to ensure water did not get into your hubs. If you get water in the grease/oil it won't lubricate properly and it can damage the wheel hubs. The guys that forge streams 4 wheeling often have to repack the hubs with grease after having fun. If nothing else mention it to the mechanic next time you have your rig serviced.

So glad you got to visit that mission. We were very impressed with it. When we went there I think in 2005 - Bill drove the Jeep and the road up there wasn't paved - just dirt and rocks. That was fun. It took us a couple of hours to get there.
Keep thinking about visiting main land.

The black and red bean in your hand is called a Rosary Pea (how appropriate for the Mission you visited) or Crab's Eye (appropriate for Florida since it also grows here). It is extremely poisonous.
What a terrific picture of the vulture. I've never seen one made to look lovely before.
