Saturday Morning, and Chilly again...

Good morning everyone!! Yep, the chill is back in GA....39F right now....I know, I know, not as cold as other places, but the clear sky last night and the wind has it cooler than we are use to....

Yesterday, was my "lost day"....remind me never to have beer and ham & bean soup, together, again... That combo destroyed my sleep Weds. night cause of the gas.. So I mostly napped yesterday....the good news is I got a good night sleep last night and alot better today.... OMG, I'm sounding like a "old person"... talking about my digestive issues...

Caught up on reading all the posts...Hope everyone is doing well today and safe travels for those "on the road"...

New Coffee Pot here....Yipee!!! So help yourselves to the fresh brew and some Orange sweet rolls....

Good morning Lori and everyone.... what is a little cool this morning 48
but it's winter time I guess that's to be expected.. even Florida has a few weeks of winter weather
that's a lot better than a few months a bad winter weather..... what do old people talk about the digestive system in the weather..lol.... Maggie and I will get that scar and go to a few yard sales today a public strip and then Walmart trip... and also fit Joann's in there somewhere.... need to use those coupons I get in the mail and the paper.... a couple weeks ago I got my muse back and now I feel like doing some art/ craft work.... and that makes me happy I'm feeling normal after year and a half of not feeling normal... I want to leave by 8 a.m. So I better get go...ing have a a fun day and be safe...donna

It's a bit chilly here in Sarasota too, Lori. But not enough to keep anyone inside Have been super busy playing and watching tennis, gym, and finding all the places that have music in the evening. We just had our annual homecoming parade (tgM finally has gotten back to blogging ) and we won the most creative. I'm also redecorating our "home". New material for dinette cushions, window treatments and wallpapering some of the dark walls to lighten things up. I'll see if I can get some pics on the blog when it's done. Hope all have a good day and know the gals r looking forward to the various gtgs.

Up early here in Mazatlan and it is cool enough to turn the little heater on just to take the chill off - well for me it is perfect - but Bill needs his warmth. By this afternoon it will be up in the low 80s. We are supposed to go to some more of the small towns surrounding us today.
I hope a lot of you will get a chance to read my blogs posts (2) from Wednesday- We had a very unusual experience down here in Mexico. We made friends with and got to tour severl tiny farming villages in the area with the Congresswoman from this area. She and her husband were giving out heavy wool blankets to every person in the surrounding villages. We went to villages where they have probably never seen a gringo tourist.
Very interesting. The real Mexico - I didn't get into the politics just the towns and the people. I put the link in the General section and it is in my signature.
We are keeping busy - had the crack in the windshield fixed - thank goodness. At home it is down to 15 again and snowing. Glad I'm here.

good morning ladies
suppose to be in the upper 70's this entire weekend, its a shame I can't get out and enjoy it but spring is not far away and there
will be more. So, routine Saturday today, laundry and trash too. Will also clean the bathroom today as son gave himself a haircut
and couldn't seem to clean up his mess and thats all I'm gonna say about that. Have things organized here and ready to go
in the car but don't want to load up the car with all that extra weight as it will destroy my gas budget for this pay period. At least
it feels good to see everything on the top shelf goes in the car. One of the workers from awhile back finally stopped by to give me
his phone # so when I get ready to hire someone to help change the tires and do some fix up he'll be available. Am glad to have
that stress over with. His name is Darren and has been a family friend for a good 20 years and can fix anything. He's also the one
that always worked on my car. I'm in that limbo right now, in between whats right now and what its going to be. It feels weird
and forgive me if I sound boring but some things I just need to get off my mind.
Ok, washer is done, need to toss in the dryer and get another load going. Ya'll have a great day and be safe, hope everyone stays

Good Morning everyone... oh Lori thanks for the start up... orange muffins (know you said sweet rolls!) sound so good... I got my shipment of honey bells yesterday and promptly ate two... will ration them out to one a day... they are sooooo good!
Everyone sounds so busy... the cold here is not helping my ailments at all... do hope the warm comes back to Fl soon!
I watched a good Netflix on line for two days 'Out of the Wild' Venezuela it was very interesting and a good watch...

We're looking forward to a warm weekend here in Kansas City. Today - high 40's, tomorrow - 60's!!! woohoo!!!! Sun was out earlier but clouds are moving in. Sadie & I enjoyed a morning walk before it got too hot.
Going to go to the RV show this morning & then get the travelin' van to drive around a bit.

Carolb, I'm sooooo jealous that your're in soCal for a while. I'm missing my baby girl alot! She still loves San Diego. I hope to bring her home for a quick visit over her BF's spring break. Can't believe they've been out there 7 months already.

And Carol (asirimarco), your blog is wonderful!!! I hope others take a few minutes to see what Mexico really is like once you're off the beaten track. Beautiful! Thanks for putting it together & reminding us on MC that it is out there.

Good morning. Knock on my door at 7 saying Leroy had shown up for guys 'morning coffee with issues. Boy did I make a grand entrance right out of bed! He's being taken to hospital. Probably a tia. I'm on my way. Please say a prayer.

Cold grey and gloomy here in IL, snow expected but they can't make up their minds-1-3in or 3-5 depending on how far south and west of Chicago you live! Just chillin' and doing laundry with my dogs here. My DH just called me to ask directions for the place he and his cousin are going, so I had to get on the computer and figure out where in the heck he was going (AND just where he was when he was calling me!) and send him on his way. Real men never ask directions! Have a great day, ladies!

Had to look up TIA:

"A transient ischemic attack (TIA) is caused by a temporary state of reduced blood flow in a portion of the brain. This is most frequently caused by tiny blood clots that temporarily occlude a portion of the brain... During a TIA, the temporary disturbance of blood supply to an area of the brain results in a sudden, brief decrease in brain function."

Thanks. Every thing is okay. Vertigo but
possibly because we didn't follow normal eat and drink routine yesterday so low sugar and dehydrated. Won't do that again. Scary tho.
