So sorry for your loss. I also wrote in the days after my Mom died. I was driving around town running errands and this poem came into my head. I actually had to pull overand write it down to keep it from overwhelming my brain. It was printed and given as a scroll to those who attended her memorial. All the best along with abundant hugs.

Those of us who have gone through losing our mothers (fathers) can totally understand what you are going through. It is a huge loss to lose a parent. No one is ever completely prepared for it.

My mother has been gone 5 years and not a day goes by that I don't think of her. They are always still with us in spirit.

My thoughts are with you at this time.

Well stated! And ditto on all of the other messages. I often think of my mother since her passing and now my father. I found that as time goes on things become *different* but like Judy said "They are always with us in spirit."
