Big big HUGS, Alice - you deserve them. Hope that everything comes on time next week and you can have some stress-free days.

Ava, I think when you get back to being on your own, with less stress, your health should improve also.

Ava the new CDL background checks are a nuisance. My HazMat CDL requires a 6 week homeland security check ground check. Not to mention the back ground checks for firearms. Seems like with all that I could avoid the pat down at the airport but nope it does not count :o

Hang onto the goal and you'll be fine. :D

PS playing with the grandbaby keeps me sane.

When I worked at the South Texas Nuclear Project I needed top clearance because I updated the operating & maint. Books in the control rooms. We had to provide them contact info for three people who knew us for our entire lives (not related) & they were contacted & had to provide the names of three more people each. Talk about a pain in the butt!

I agree that hopefully, once you get out of your current environment, lots of things will improve, especially your health!

Last time I renewed my DL three women in front of me were sent away, two because they didn't have the correct papers to verify name changes throughout their life and another because she couldn't provide a birth certificate because the courthouse where she was born had burned down and all records were lost. If anyone needs to renew make sure you know all the verifications that you need before you go the DMV. If you use South Dakota as your state of residence you need to go here to find out what you have to have. http://dps.sd.gov/licensing/driver_lice ... cense.aspx
My mind works like lightning...one brilliant flash and it's gone.

Wow I didn't know some licenses and / or states are so strict on documents needed. In IL all I have to do is give them the one I currently have that will expire.

Ava. you are one of the strongest women I know. You have survived and worked out so many problems in your life. You will manage this too, and I agree when you are on your own again, your stress level should be way down and that alone will make you a healthier person. ((((((((( Hugs)))))))))) Hang in there, this to shall pass. Good idea though to do the wellness check ups, to know we have no real health issues, is a wonderful help in how we feel and what we can do.

Thinking of you, and hoping everything works out fast for you, we're all rooting for you!!!!!
