Good Saturday Morning...I'm singing in the Rain..

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Good Saturday Morning...I'm singing in the Rain..

Postby rvgrammy1953 » Sat Feb 14, 2009 8:27 am

Yep, it rained all night and is still raining.... Big boom around 3am woke us by shaking the camper....Geez!!! :o The lightening and thunder was going great guns....My Dad told us as kids that God and the Angels were bowling in the heavens.... ;) I want to know who bowled the 300 game!

No big plans for the day....the rain limits our activities to inside stuff...

Okay, got the coffee going and have mini blueberry muffins on the table...

Have a great day, All...

Happy Valentine's Lori and everybody! It's cold here too, cloudy and windy. I'm headed out for bootcamp with the "kids". Oh! I just saw a BIG Valentine's balloon and bouquet of roses go by my window, I will have a happy neighbor! Bye all.....

yum muffins......chew, chew, smack, smack....Slow Saturday. I rememberr those.....when you kind of fall into them, so amazed that your body actually made it through another work week.....we won't talk about the brain making it through. Sometimes my mind didn't make it back until Sunday. The fog would clear just in time for....

Until I start my seasonal part time work in April, those times are behind me. It is easier to handle work when you know there is a beginning and an end in sight. That first 30 year stretch seemed to go on forever though...at the time. Hope all is well. I have been looking for a small 15 inch flat screen TV to mount under the cabinets in the MH. Any recommendations? There really doesn't seem to be many models in that size. I was lead to believe that the 19 inch models would not be able to mount that way, I guess because of the weight. Any insight? The pups and I are going to check in on the Step-mother today and do a few chores for her. On the computer and pictures front I am waiting to find out if my problem are due to the age of my mac and the software being not able to be upgraded to handle the newerr stuff..... But guys, it still works and its paid for....:0

Let me grab one more muffin to ease my way....through today...nothing like a little comfort food...

MOrning to all - Happy Valentines Day. It sure is a big holiday in Mexico - Lots and lots of stuff for sale for lovers. And today they are going to set a world's record for the most people kissing in the square in Mexico City - over 32,000 (don't know if thats people or couples.) Good luck to them.
One of our friends got married yesterday on Friday the 13th at Hesitation Point in the state park hummmmmm....
We have paid for one more week here in Mazatlan which will take us to the begining of Carnival. Will try to keep you posted - got on line with no problems this a.m.

I'm fed up sleeping on the couch. I have GOT to get this stuff organized. I wanted to sort out the storage under the bed. That meant that all the stuff on the bed had to be moved into the living space. I hope there isn't a fire because I'd have a hard time getting out. As soon as I get a visit from my son I'll be able to get at least six boxes out. I've also got 6 boxes of stuff to sell on e-bay. I checked it out last night and it was really depressing, e-bay seems to be dying. I'm tempted to chuck it back into the storage and wait to see if the economy picks up.

Carol, the marriage is doomed! Anybody who chooses to get married on Friday the 13th at Hesitation Point already knows it! Why not wait one day and get married at Inspiration Point or somewhere. Then again, maybe they are so in love that it wouldn't matter where they got married...but the 13th?... :?

Hey Sparkle,
I don't know about the 13th. Seems to have been lucky for me. Took out my marriage license on Friday the 13th, happily married to the same man for almost 36 years. Bought the best car I ever owned on Friday the 13th, sent her to her earned rest after 15 years and 245,000 miles (never went to the shop except to get the oil changed--Oldsmobile Cutlass. Husband was born on Friday the 13th. :D

well good morning ladies, still struggeling on the "old" computer, tried to
reinstall my modem on the other one and thats a bust cause its asking for
a driver I can't find. So I've determined I can't fix it and will let my computer
guy do it, he says he has a modem for me and also will add more memory
to it. Guess I'll be taking the XP to work on Tuesday so it can get a make over. Means I won't be spending much time on the computer this weekend
just cause it takes so long for stuff to load. HA! that means I'm committed
to doing housework :x but it needs doing anyway, have several bags of
hand me down pants to go through and winter clothes to sort through.
Other than my computer woes, everything is good with me and the furkids.
So glad its a 3 day weekend, and then springbreak just around the corner.
Enjoy your weekend ladies, and stay safe.
Somewhere with Ava and Maggie

Friday the 13th has always been a pretty lucky day for me, also. But - as with most things now - I had no clue it was Friday the 13th till I was on the tour bus yesterday at Kings Ranch - and the bus driver mentioned it!

After a long, long week - not bad, just so busy I started my days early and crawled into bed exhausted, it's good today to have (finally) a lazy day. Thought about taking the trolley into town, but have ruled it out. Too much I need to do inside, and with a drizzly day - good day to do things inside - from website work, to work on getting this place organized again. The man who was going to install my new tv is no longer here (my mounting arm showed up the day before he left the park LOL) - someone else here stopped by today and is going to take care of it for me. After we get the old tv out - that will be fun figuring out - then the original guy was going to build me a hinged door for that area, so I could put storage in there. Well, that's not happening now, so I'm going to (after the rest gets done) look into getting some type of small tension rod and put a curtain there. Simple and I can do it myself :)

I'm still waiting on one document to get my tax stuff together - would so like to have that done. They say I should have gotten it - I didn't - so now need a dupe.

Happy Valentine's Day to each and everyone of you!
Beth

BETH!!! Is that you???? Omigawd! A haircut you surely did get!!! There's no way I would have known you had I passed you on the street! I hope it proves to be easy to take care of on the road to AK this summer!!

(Maybe it's the lack of the hat??)

Anyway, I guess you are happy with the new head, yes?? And that's all that matters!

Happy end of Valentine's Day to us all!

Gooood Evening Sistahs!!!

Well to get the first item out of the way.

Holy Smokes Beth!!! Now that's a hair cut. I'm in awe!!! Don't have Carol beat tho. ;) That is gonna be so easy to take care of. I think it looks great.

Today has be a nothing day. As in nothing got done or accomplished. I ran the roads for a bit this afternoon and except for going out to dinner that has been it for the whole day. I thought about going into work last eve but the later it got the worse I felt and just ended up saying the he77 with it. I actually slept all night last nite except for one potty run. The alarm went off just as I was getting out of bed this morning. I think that's the first time I have slept the full 8hrs. Shame I had to wait until I was sick to do it.

And sick I am. OMG!!! I feel horrible. I don't often get really sick but when I do it hammers me. I have no energy, no breath, no strength and not much of anything else.

Now the things that I do have... a great big wanking headache, that head also feels 10 times it's normal size, stuffed nose, raw throat, miserable horrific bone quivering cough, painful ribs, chest & back, ?? I think that's enough for now! Oh and I'm ready to go to bed but am afraid that once I close my eyes I will totally be out!!!!! I do believe I will have to give up and go to bed. See how I feel and give it another try tomorow.

No coffee or any goodies for me, thank you.

Hope everyone had a fantastic day to day. Happy Valentines Day!!! xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo

Love to all
