good morning ladies
mornings like this .....when I see the rest of the world under blizzards and subfreezing temps....makes me appreciate the southwest.
I think I'm not doing much today, so guess these last few days before I go back to work will be lazy days. ;)
Enjoy your day ladies and be warm and safe. I'm ready for a coffee refill.

Good Morning Kathleen and Everyone, I have been looking at the temps for up there, Kathleen. I don't think I chose a good week to go up there :D , of course its all Anita's fault, she will be leaving, and so will Carolb, at the wrong time for me to stay warm  Oh well, such is life, right ??

I shouldn't be complaining of weather, its really awful in so many places. Including my home, I'm so glad not to be there.

Making this short this morning, need to get moving around here. Only a couple hrs travel, depends on the traffic though and expect there are many more people down here this year then ever, and who can blame them.

I keep thinking of Barbie and Pat, I do not envy you gals at all !!!

Have a good day and stay safe and warm as possible if you are in that blizzard area, and elsewhere,

CArol :)

"Cool Friday"? Kathleen, I'd call it dang COLD here in FL

Good morning all! Told Anita we should head out now & find warmer temps somewhere! But will brave the 50degree (sorry to offend those of you in the sub-zero temps  ) weather today with long johns, wool socks, sweater, stocking cap & winter coat! CArol, looking forward to seeing you at our "throw together" gtg. Will you be at the same cg with Anita? We're thinking of dinner at Irmi's cg, but she doesn't know that yet! ;)

Y'all have a great day, stay WARM, & be safe always! 8-)

Oh dear - I thought I left everyone behind who could blame me for anything. Wait, it's Carolb's fault because she picked our departure date! I'll take this morning's temps because 20s are predicted Monday and Tuesday night!!

I don't have to leave the park until 1 so will have time to walk over to see the manatees one last time - too wet the last two days. Planning to stop for laundry and groceries on my way to Silver Springs.

I made a deposit on a new truck in Surprise, AZ yesterday. So glad to have that 'shopping' over with! There weren't many of the model out there I wanted - meaning I didn't want top of the line interior, bells and whistles, etc. Parts are ordered and being sent to LeRoy that he'll install on new truck for hauling the camper. Ram 3500, 4x4, dually.

Now I should get busy so I can hit the road! So looking forward to our GTG tomorrow.

Stay warm everyone.

Well, it's -12 here in mid-Michigan right now, which is the coldest weather we've seen here in decades. Very, very strange!

Normally I'd just stay home a few days when it gets like this, but I have an appointment. Drat!

Good morning from Central Pa. B-r-r, it is cold out there this morning! Already been out to clean off the sidewalk and driveway. Figure since the sun is finally shining just maybe it'll help melt some of the snow. I'm on my third cup of coffee and need to fix something to eat. Looked out the back door this morning and saw my brake lights were on in the Roadtrek. Seems to happen when its really cold. Battery is fine, started up. So as soon as I can get some dry roads I need to get it to the garage so they can check it out. Solurion might be to go sourh! I wish! Anyway, stay warm and safe. BTW, 50 sounds pretty good to me! :)

Good Morning, It's warmed up to 18 here, but forecast just keeps getting worse. Now after a high of 43 on Sat, it will start to snow that night and Sunday potential for significant snow :( then Monday a high of 2 and low of -7!!! I can't remember it being that cold in the day time and its been at least a couple of decades since we've seen that much below. Thank goodness as of now they say on Wednesday the temps will start to go up. So, guess I had best take advantage of tomorrow and do some grocery shopping. A friend messaged me at 7;30 this morning saying she was already bored so will pick her up in a bit and do some retail therapy.
Had a fun time with cousins last night playing Mexican Train (I won :) ), there were a couple of embarrassing moments when Toby cleared the room really fast! I don't know what that dog got into but it was powerful!
Anita, glad you found your truck! Safe travels to all.

I have arrived , and yes Carolb, I am staying in same CG as Anita. Lucked out and they had a nice site for two nights, right across where I have stayed before, so I knew the site. Only when I was over there woke up Sat. Morn to snow !!! Oh please no repeats

Nice drive up, wind was high but speed limit on my route was not much so I enjoyed the ride up. Hard to recognize a route I have traveled soooooo many times for soooooooooo many years. Not much countryside left, just building after building !!!
Won't think about that .

Will see those around in the area soon.

Well, with the prediction on Monday for temps to -30 below or colder :o and windchills to -60 below  , the governor of MN has closed all schools for Monday. The last time that happened was 18 years ago. Our shop is also possibly closing early on Sunday and/or Monday. This weather (all across the country) is crazy!

Got my radiator checked on my Jeep and it is good to -40 so that is good. Also have a full tank of gas. I am the only opener at work on Monday so need to be able to start the Jeep in the morning.

Am SO looking forward to getting down to Florida in 3 weeks!!! :D

Have a great day and stay warm! :D

So sorry everyone is having such cold weather. Here in California it was 73 at my house today. Beautiful but we need rain very badly. This is the 3rd year of low rainfall and if it continues we may have rationing this summer. Stay warm everyone. I don't think I could manage such cold.

I brought my Jeep to my friend Steve's place tonight to have him put in a new thermostat. He had to drain the radiator first, and to my surprise, the fluid came out almost clear! There was barely any antifreeze in it! That place I went to earlier is known to be a real rip-off place but it is the only one in town. They probably lied to me thinking I would end up having to go in once my radiator froze up, and get it fixed.
So we put in two gallons of antifreeze with water (70/30 mix). With a very warm car, I stopped on the way home at Napa and got a tester and tested it. NOW it is good to -40 degrees! And it is very green like it is supposed to be. :D
So I should be good for the deep freeze now! I am ready! Bring it on!
