I LOVE the idea of your putting your rope lights around your patio rug! What a wonderful idea! I always love to have mine up, but, when the wind comes up, or threatens, and they are attached to the awning, down they have to come in a hurry! Next summer, by george, I will have my lights around my rug!!

Lori---loved your pics! I also figured out why you put your lights around your carpet. When you stagger home from the campfire, you can tell where to step!! LOL I put mine around the carpet a lot too!!! LOL!!

Fernie, how funny...Yup like that idea too - rope lights around the carpet. Love the Seabee (being ex Navy I'm kind partial any way)

Thanks, all....We usually have the rope lights on the awning, but seen alot of folks putting them around the carpet and patio pad at Corpus cause it's a "NO AWNING" place with the wind.....we really liked the look....................
