If one of you gets a TelCel Banda Ancha - and share the cost it will be really cheap = and who knows you just might be able to pick up signals - might be worth it. works just life the Verizon stick. Any TelCel store has them. Just a thought so we can keep up with you.

Looking forward to the travels of our Baja Babes. Here's to smooth border crossings for all of you. (I'm sure we'll hear all about it no matter what happens.) Safe travels. Linda

P.S. I'm glad Abby is getting better. That must have been so scary.

Mitch, don't know if they told you at the vet's but you can give Abby a little cooked hamburger (well drained) and some cooked white rice to help with her diarrhea. Now, don't ask me how I know..... Have fun, Baja Babes!

Carol, we each got our own stick! :) The price was so reasonable. Now whether we get speeds to post blogs is another question. We were also warned that they would only work near the cities, but we figured it would make banking safer than public WiFI. Thanks for the tip!

The Telcel USB internet sticks were about US22 each and 3Gb for 1 month (prepaid plan) was around US30. So, I think we're all happy campers...except that it might take all month just to upload a couple of pictures, so there goes 3Gb wasted!! :)

Abby is slowly improving in the pooh-pooh department. Still not "solid", but at least it has some form. She likes wandering around with all the new smells.

No Pedro yet. Beth got hit on by the immigration officer giving us our tourist cards - Luiz (Luis?)...he seemed to like her cuz she's divorced - he said, "Married, Divorced, Widow, Widow"...he let her know he is single. She wasn't buying what he was trying to offer.

Gosh, it's nice and warm and sun shiny just south of Ensenada...whales spouting all afternoon. Ahhhh...

And that's all I have to report until we get a faster connection.
