Good Morning all...well didn't have to go to work today and actually am off until Tuesday next week. Being reaaaaaaal lazy this a.m. It's 9:28, 67 degrees inside and 50 degrees outside. Rains a comin according to the weather station, so I belive our desire to head to the desert for a little fun is kaboshed as the storms are going to be hitting all weekend with snow down to the 4500' level over the weekend. Just oooky gloomy and all I feel like doing is sitting here in my flannel pjs wrapped in a blankie and give a howdy do to you all to jump start my day.
Zee that cookie recipe sounds yummy - care to share? I need to get to the grocery store today and get some food in the house. Maybe even cook DH a tasty meal. That way he'll just hafta take me to dinner tomorrow
Yup, there is method to my madness...
Fernie, I like your style ... head back to bed....it was sooooooo comfy cozy, and I don't get to sleep in very often...BUT alas I'll keep my butt outta bed. Truly need to get a pot of coffe on though. Like Mervyn's Open Open Open...my eyes...
Cedar have fun with the school fun celebration of Valentines day. I always loved getting the Valentine cards for my children to hand out to their classmates. They'd always come home at the end of the day all excited with their little cards and candy treasures.
Liz, those were such cute pics.
Love the caption ---What? classic! Enjoy your visit with Carol.
BirdbyBird, sure hope you manage to get that handsome picture of that handsome retriever with the Valentine heart. I'm not savvy with Macs so sorry can't lend you any pooter advice there.
Echo, glad you have a pretty day evolving with happy sun and wispy clouds. Hope you get over the creepy crud fast. I've managed to escape it so far, but it keeps trying to sneak ahold every now and then with upset stomach pains and just plain ol feeling like crud. Hopy you have a better day today.
Sparkle sorry to hear about your feeling icky - Have you thought of trying Abreva for your cold sores? I get them when I get really sick or stressed out (or eat turnip/mustard greens due to the acidity I guess-bummer as I love em with vinegar and butter - YUM!), Anyway a firend told me about it and lemme tell ya...it may be a tad expensive, but just a lil dab will do ya and the sores and tendersness go away really really fast. Interesting you are in Hunstville as my DH and I are so wanting to get rid of everything, pack up and move to Alabama. Current events/family issues/CA government as a whole and work...well we're probably dreaming that running away from here would be a good solution, but the more and more we research MS/KY/TN/AL area the more we want to head to AL. We've been looking online for lakefront homes, preferably near Huntsville area as I could likely get a DOD GOV job at the Missile Defense Agency in Huntsville (have a friend that works there). Been trying to read all I can about Alabama and try to determine that if we did chose to run away from home (CA), that we would be able to survive in Alabama. Any insight? Looks like property taxes are very reasonable, and I'm assuming it manages to escape the majority of tornados from nearby tornado alley or is that hurricane? Never could get the differences straight. In any event, I certainly hope you get to feeling better soon. Any advice about AL pros/cons would be greatly appreciated. Not something we can do this second, but looking more and more like something we may pursue within the next couple years God willing and the creek don't rise.
You all have a good day today, and cupid filled day tomorrow.
