Seasons Greetings and well wishes to all this morning....

Lots better today.....slept well and got up at a "normal" time...6am....a little cooler in SE GA this morning and the wind is picking up some, but still, all in all, it will be a good day...after all, it's Christmas Eve... ;)

The "Baja Babes" are headed over the border today....Be safe, all of you....and we'll all be waiting for your check ins and reports....

Got to do the cookies this morning...then I'm ready for Christmas Holiday...we'll do the "Swedish food" tonight...it's my family's tradition...then tomorrow will be with the crew here at the CG with the whole works.....am making my Great-Grandma's Swedish meat balls for the dinner tomorrow...(she came from Sweden in the late 1800's) along with some Lingonberries sauce....

Okay, coffee's ready and English muffins to start your day...

Merry Christmas, all and enjoy...... :D

Good morning and Merry Christmas Eve Morning. This is crazy weather. It is currently 10 degrees warmer in Seattle than Houston. It's is 30 here. Jack Frost visited this morning. So pretty. Had the furnace on in RED most of the night to keep her from freezing. Feeling blessed to have my daughter here for Christmas. She ships off to boot camp Jan 6. Tonight we'll go to candle light church service. DH son and fam along with some friend's from Hawaii will join us for dinner tomorrow. I'm cooking a big prime rib roast with all the fixings :P

I'm still grieving the loss of my brother. So tragic. So preventable. Just not fair. I find myself crying while shopping and forgetting where I parked the car. I'm going through the anger phase of grieving.

Enjoy your day. Stay warm and safe.

Good Morning
It is cold here too. Lucky to reach mid 30s today with wind chill in 20s and tonight low in teens. Warming late week. I am not looking forward to going out today but have a few things to that require venturing out into the cold.
No big plans for tomorrow.
Merry Christmas to all.

Merry Christmas Eve to all, brrrr cold here too at 13 when I got up at 6:30 but at least it isn't a negative like at Barbies. We can dream about Mitch's 'chilly' 78 :)
I invited a few people over for Happy Hour this afternoon, our neighbors including Toby's friend Wiggy. I hope peace will reign  DH is in charge of snacks and I did most of my chores yesterday so hopefully it will be a relaxing day.
Thinking about the Baja Babes and that today will be the beginning of a wonderful, exciting adventure.

Good Morning while it still is!
Went shopping with my friend Molly last evening… we thought that later would be less crowded in Wal Mart… oh no it was very busy… I am all stocked up and ready to make Apple Cobbler Crisp tomorrow for the pot luck here at the park… It is nice to meet and visit with others…
Today I will need to get help and put the mattress back over the cab… The mess is cleaned up and looks like new… not sure but I think the water came in the window…
Have a great day everyone… I too am looking forward to the adventures of ladies 4 in Baja…

Beautiful sunny day here at Lake Mead! I have a beautiful site overlooking the lake. I got my new water pump installed yesterday, and it seems to be working well. Got some velour stretchy pants for the airplane and just need to shorten them.

Today will be laundry, riding my bike over to my cousin's motorhome in the next door campground, sanding and oiling my new cutting board, and finally relaxing this evening watching Christmas Eve TV and maybe a DVD or two.

Hope everyone has a good and peaceful day, today and tomorrow.

It got down to 31 last night. I think it's suppose to be colder tonight and then warm up some. I'm sure the ones up North would like to have 31 instead of a minus number. Our problem is that we are just not prepared for freezing weather. That's not my fault, I said the outside pipes should have been fixed when they were installed. My DH said that would cost too much. I bet he thinks differently when he is having to mess with broken pipes when it's cold.

I had to go back to town this morning because I didn't make it to the bank yesterday before the window closed. I was going to stop at the grocery store that sells lunches and see what they had today. I couldn't get in their parking lot so we are having crawfish pies that were in the freezer. I sure hope I have everything for tomorrow because we will just have to do without. I'm not going back to town. I got a bag of cranberries yesterday to make cranberry sauce. I have to have cranberry sauce with dressing. Then I can fight with my DH about it being in the refrigerator. He is always wanting to throw it away and I tell him it's like jelly and doesn't go bad.

Judy, glad you finally got your water pump replaced. Good idea to wear comfortable clothes when you fly. I always think about being so confined and not able to move.

Merry Christmas everyone.
