You gals are sure having fun! And you haven't even left the country yet!

I love San Clemente! I spent Christmas Day there 3 years ago. Too bad you didn't go over the mountains at least one way. Beautiful drive from Lake Elsinore, but it is a longer drive (shorter as the crow flies tho) and lots of switchbacks.

Looks like the weather has been good there this week too.
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Thanks Tina, wish I was at a beach.
The rough drunk dogs image gave me a laugh too.

I think the trip so far is a good example of the saying, it isn't about the destination it is the journey. Thanks so much for sharing the fun along the way Tina!

I'm so sorry I missed getting to Sharon's to meet up with everyone. I got a bug that hit me like a ton of bricks while on a bus tour to see the Newport Beach boat parade. The only parade I got to do was the one between my bed and the bathroom at the pricey hotel I managed to crawl to with the help of a nice, young gal who worked nearby. This earth angel saw how sick I was and made all the arrangements for a place for me to stay, contacted the tour company to inform them I was staying behind, and even walked me to the hotel. God certainly uses people here to act as his angels.

I'm just beginning to get some strength back - slowly. Hope I can meet up with everyone when they come back to rescue their cars. In the meantime, I'll enjoy being along on adventure electronically.

Evie - so glad you are doing some better. Take good care of yourself. Something similar happened to my daughter when she, her husband, the twins and the inlaws went to Disneyland over Thanksgiving. She spent one full day then some in the hotel room. Her hubby had it a couple days before they left for Disney.
Hope you can enjoy the holidays now.
