Oops, SoCalGalcas, not quite. I got back Friday fairly late because I had done some shopping. Hooked up the city water since I did not have much in my fresh water tank. Went inside, had dinner, took shower, went to bed.
Next morning, very early, I got a loud knock on my door. Turned out I had a leak of some sort and neighbors had turned off my city water. Big puddle under motorhome, so it was NOT leaking from connection. Looked at fresh water tank and it was FULL!! How did that happen? Anyway, went back to Camping World and they looked at it. They said the diaphragm was shot and when I hooked up city water it went through the diaphragm and directly into my tank. They did not take it apart, but could hear it. Problem was they did not have right pump and did not think they could get it because this one was backordered. Offered to replumb area and put larger pump in my storage bin instead of pass-through where it is currently located. I turned that down, since it is working OK for the meantime as long as I do not connect to city water.
So that night, I went online and did a search for that model. Voila! Guess who has it online? Camping World. So I called the online store to confirm (they had several at $86 and can second day air it to me) and asked why the store couldn't have gone online and ordered it. Lady said they could have. So what was going on here??? Something smells fishy. It was too late to call other RV shops, but I did find it at one service place in LV, and cost was $222.
So I am going to call Camping World online back and order one sent to me at a Fed-Ex store. Then I will try to find someone to install it. In the meantime, I am keeping my fingers crossed that this one will not completely die.
