Love that image - did you paint/draw that? It's great.

Should be in bed. Had my last night at Amazon and while they paid me till the end of the shift, I was allowed to leave early (we all were who were finishing up last night). They also provided dinner for us. And the manager in the dept I worked thanked me in front of the entire department in such a way that I cried. Lots and lots of hugs before I left. So much this start-up that was a mess - but the people were absolutely awesome and it was hard to leave. I'll have to come back to this area just to see a bunch of them again. Overall - this was a good experience, as frustrated as I was so much of the time. (Hard to believe I'm saying that now!)

OK, now it's time to be thinking Baja - and sleeping to get myself onto a day schedule from the night one I've been on for so long. The gang at Sharon's isn't going to be too ready to switch to my schedule, so I best get mine more in line with them! (Sharon, et al, if all goes well tomorrow, I'll do my dangdest to arrive sometime late Saturday - but promise an arrival by Sunday afternoon. Will be in touch. Lots of little things here to clean up before I can hit the road.) Oh, and it's windy here today - so hoping that's not going to continue for my drive!

Good Morning to All and good night to Beth! = I've been up since 4:30 that is getting to be a habit. I sleep like a rock for about four or five hours then I'm wide awake. If I stay in bed and try to sleep I just have weird dreams - really weird dreams. So this a.m. I just got up. Trying not to wake up Bill while getting dressed and fixing coffee. We've had rain and thunder and I suppose lightening (cant see it with the blinds closed) all night in fact just heard another rumble. And of course the waves are making more noise than usual. Supposed to rain all day today - so guess the painters won't be back to touch up the areas that need it. Also Bill will have to bum a ride into the town to the repair shop to see what the verdict on the Jeep is - he needs to go to the ATM and grocery store too. Hopefully I'll be able to go with him.
Looks like maybe the campground got their wifi up and running yesterday - I can see the icon with 5 bars but don't know the password. That would be nice as I have a couple of videos I'd like to upload that the TelCel just can't handle.
Yesterday afternoon we were watching all the big fishing boats heading towards Yavaros -- guess they knew what the weather was going to be like.
Gad I hate being without a car.
Have hot coffee and Mexican pastries and Egg Beaters scrambled.
Have a good and safe day.

Good morning all,
I made it to Ottawa, ON yesterday. The roads were bare and dry which was a pleasure, this time of year.
Was hoping to get to Montreal to see sis tomorrow but we are under winter weather advisory for sleet and freezing rain through Sunday night. Son and I will leave Monday, when all this nasty has passed, to head to family for a few days over Christmas. Plans beyond that are still in jello.
Not much else here today.
Have a good one y'all.

Good Morning from yes finally warm Ocala… we will have temps in the 80s for the next few days… what a great time to get out and see what is happening in the world!
Yesterday Molly and I took Shadow to the farmers market… I left my purse in the car! Shadow thought it was great to pull me all over… I could not keep up so we went and sat at a picnic table… they had a wonderful fire going to keep the chill off everyone…
I did not go to the birthday anniversary party last night… read and played some games on my Kindle instead…
Have a great day everyone

Slept in some but had to finally get up and move my Jeep since they are finally plowing the parking lots today. It is only 13 degrees out but didn't feel too bad since there is no wind. That makes such a difference!

Have the day off. Need to do laundry and some cleaning around here, but probably nap and read too, and wrap the few gifts I got. One of them is being delivered from Amazon today.

Hope you all stay warm, dry, safe and happy today! :D

We have girls scurrying all over SoCal today...Liz and Tina to the north to the vets for health certs for their fur babies, Mitch to the east to get her oil changed and Wallyworld. Nor sure what Lyn and I are up to today. Sunshine this morning after a full day of rain yesterday and hopefully a little warmer. Mitch took a tumble in my garage yesterday, Stewart dog found her and Tina rescued her. She's not limping this morning and I haven't heard from her lawyer yet so I think everything is ok...so far....Laura due to arrive late this afternoon. Beth on Sunday and then I lose all of my company. Gonna be a sad day in Romoland! But tonite is tacos and margaritas and the party continues!!!

Have a great day everyone!!

Great Morning here in the South Sound area of Washington State - SNOW, only a little ove an inch, but SNOW nevertheless! I live in an "Active Adult" community near the state capitol of Olympia. Last night a caravan of lighted and decorated golf carts along with a hay wagon of caroliers wound their way throught the community stopping every few blocks. One of the stops was in front of my house. Some neighbors gathered to join in and I baked some gingerbread cookies and made a gallon of hot spiced apple cider to hold off the chill. Lots of fun even in the cold. I am sooo happy I moved out of California to this great community.
