Liz and I arrived early enough in the day to jump in the car and drive through the rest of the park...... Definitely a very special place.

Beautiful pics there, but no spots for over 4ft? At least Mitch would be able to stay there.

I've heard so much about that park, so nice to finally have a tour. Great pictures , Tina !! To bad you all only had one night there. You all have traveled many miles and so far the ride has been really super, I'm sure enjoying the trip .

Thank you,
CArol :)

Great post Tina.

The things I learn from you ladies. I had no idea the San Andreas fault was actually visibale  , sure, maybe as a mountain, hills or a valley, but definitely didn't think it looked like that. Never too old to learn. :P

It is such a beautiful place! Love the unique shapes of the boulders!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Really great pictures, the sky is such a contrast to the landscape. I remember from my travels out west that the sky seem more dramatic than in the mid-west. The spots on some of rocks remind me of the pattern of the skin of seals.

Thanks, Tina. Looking forward to next adventure - maybe a wild ride on one of Sharon's toys.
