Good Morning Everyone
Cheryl I would be happy to send you some snow, we have enough!! It is a cold & sunny 15 here this morning at ten. I almost think I would pick this over 80's and humidity, I wouldn't be going out in that either. I seem to do cold a little better. Had people come by looking for drives etc to clear and now if the snow plow ever comes by we should be able to get out! Just as I told them yes, do ours the phone rang and my friend said guys were on her street clearing snow for free and they would come over. I felt I couldn't change my mind plus she wasn't sure when they would get here. It was worth $30. to us. I sure didn't want DH out there and I knew I wasn't going, it is really a deep plus heavy snow. What a great act of kindness though the other group was doing, it was a man who had all the equipment and a group of high school kids. They have declared a state of emergency here and just about everything was closed yesterday.

Wendy sorry to hear you had a change in plans, maybe you could catch up with the Baja group, you and Mitch could join forces. :)

Martha I'm with you I don't like changing purses!

Good Morning. It’s cold -15! I’d be hunkering down in the house but I have to buy groceries and pick up the mail. Need to stop at the station and pay for a new battery too…yesterday the one in my work car said “no way woman” ….but then it was 7 years old and it was kind enough to die in our garage rather in the parking lot at work.

Started putting up the tree yesterday but ran out of steam so I’d better get that finished and put out a few other decorations. My nativity is still up from last year! But if it’s not sitting on the buffet the picture of the Last Supper sits there on an easel. So my theory is that it’s my Jesus place and I either have him coming or going. I can justify anything…including the fact that I forgot but it away and by the time I noticed the box was already packed away in the basement!

Wendy, let’s face it….sometimes men are just pecker heads and there is just no genteel way to put it. So if I offend anyone please accept my apology….but still stand by it! I’m sorry that you are hurting and know that we all understand how you feel. Remember I have friends in low places…from my job I know a couple of Guido types who are “out” now….want me to contact a hit man? Or maybe just a ruff up guy?

Yesterday we found out that my friend Missy is expecting a grandson too. Our grandbabies will be born less than a month apart. It’s going to be a blessing for Missy…while she has seven grandchildren already I can see that the anticipation of this one is helping her with the grieving process..something to look forward to.

Have most of my Christmas shopping finished and never set foot in a store! I love the internet! My list for a stock-up trip to Wally World is getting quite long but I think I’m going to bug out of work early some week day afternoon and shop so I don’t have to fight the weekend crowds.
Have a great day!
My mind works like lightning...one brilliant flash and it's gone.

It is cold every where but Florida...there is a big High sitting on the Atlantic coast
that is pushing the cold air away from Florida...but CArol you can call me mean also
cause it is just a little to hot for me right now...and Maggie is hot also...cant sleep
dad keeps it to hot in the house...so have been sleeping in the rig this last week and
that has helped..Maggie and I went to a few yard sales to day...took dads car...got a
James Patterson book I don't think I have read and some Food Network mags that some
lady was giving away...then took Maggie home and went to walmart to get a few things
including gift cards for sons family...I need to get their package sent on Monday ...now
I am baking off the rest of the cookies to send in the box...so better get back at it
have a fun day and be safe in your travels..donna ;)

Wendy, I have done that too, changed purses and changed back. The last time I was on a purse hunt I bought 3 before I found the one I could live with. I need to learn to return things. Maybe someone will get a purse for Christmas. I put all my junk in the new one. Now it needs a trial run but it's too cold to go to town.

Pat, you are too funny. Just loved your comment about "friends in low places".
Wendy, you're feeling lonely right now, but it will get easier. I can't figure men out either. Sometimes they end relationships just before Christmas, so they don't have to buy you something special. Use the money you might have spent on him and buy yourself a special gift. Chin up, there are more out there. Peggy

Wendy, I'm so sorry to hear about what's happened. I know that you were lonely and being with someone sure brought a smile to your face ... so I hope that you can find the RIGHT someone to share your life with. Meantime, enjoy your time with all of us!

There's Jesus, the Mexican singing cowboy, I met in Big Bend. Just take a hike down by the river and he'll be there. Or follow the horseshoe tracks...

Mexican guys know how to treat a lady right! And they are hard workers, at least the ones I have known.

Still below zero here and we are in for another 5 inches of snow tomorrow. This sure feels like January to me! Maybe this means an early spring next year!

Was surprisingly very busy at work today! Good tips!

Hope you all had a good day in spite of the cold weather! Hunker down and/or bundle up!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Believe me, just like every other place, there's good ones & bad ones. I speak from experience. 8-)
