That haircut for me - was only about 1/4 inch long - between 1/4 inch and 1/2 inch - but was hard to get anyone to maintain.

I have a gal in her 60's who comes in for a haircut like that and she looks great! I leave it a little longer than that but then she puts gel in it and spikes it! Otherwise, there is always the clippers! #4 clipper takes it down to a half inch all over! Do that on guys all the time. With the women, tho, I leave it a little longer and whispy in the front, neck and in front of the ears for a more feminine look.
