Assuming, of course, that I could remember the combination!

You can always unlace one of your sneakers and put a spare key on the lace down near the toe end. Then just re-lace the shoe again. You'd have to remove your shoe to unlock the door but you won't need to be embarrassed about this. Anyone that sees you will think you're brilliant! You'll always have a key with you if you do this. If you switch to high heels though, you're own your own.

Well Judy, guess it was inevitable. Somewhere along the way in our lives, we all manage to lock keys in our vehicles. Happened to me as well. I have a habit of carrying a spare key in my wallet, cause my wallet goes with me whenever I am out driving of course, but this new Flex I have, the key is so big, can't get it into my wallet. Fortunately the Flex was built with a door opener system in it and all I have to do is punch in a code and it will unlock itself, should I be unfortunate to lock in my keys. Glad you got your self back in business though.

I wear sandals, so no luck there. Guess I could do the grandma thing and stuff a key in my bra, right in the middle. My aunt used to keep a lot of things in there. ;)

I've just noticed that several different keys on the big ring of keys I got with my rig will open my side door.
Presumably any key roughly the right size will.

I had this on an older RV.
I got robbed (purse stolen) and while I had a spare key to drivers door, I'd lost the only copy of the keys to all the other
locks on the rig. I went to a little old fashioned locksmith shop. The guy was the grouchiest person I've ever met, before
or since (his daughter was there, acting embarrassed for him), but he did a fantastic job - Changed all the 'small' locks on
the rig to use the same key as the side door, even changed the lock on my locking gas cap to use that same lock.
So I only had two keys on my 'jailor's ring'. What a luxury!

Anyway, the lesson from all this is to check your own side door lock - you might not be as secure as you think. Many of them,
any key will open.

Judy, Sorry you got locked out. Have you thought about putting your keys on a lanyard or a clip that attaches to belt loops. That way they would be attached prior to leaving the rig. The editor of RV travel once lost his keys in a sewer right outside of his rig door. Dropped them right out of his hands I guess.

Sewers have always worried me because they are so easy to drop things into. I guess I just need backup to my backup.

However, I had two cab door keys made on Tuesday. I put one loose in my fanny pack, but now I cannot find the other one!!

I need to get under my bed tomorrow and do some digging to find my other complete set of keys. Somewhere I am pretty sure I had a couple of duplicate compartment keys made--just need to find them and do some searching for the one I lost.

And after calling CoachNet twice in two months, now I am worried about calling them again for anything else. I will end up having a "record" as that old lady who keeps getting into trouble.
