Letters to Santa

As a size reference -- the standing platform behind the mailbox is well above my head.

It's fun to have coffee and watch the families come and go, so the kids can mail their letters.

Anne, it's Mason, MI, and the building is the Ingham County Courthouse -- although it's mostly county offices now; the court complex is in ugly 70s buildings about a mile west. This building was constructed just after the Civil War, when the old courthouse was demolished; hence the styling. And I agree -- it's really pretty!
