Sunday Sadness

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Sunday Sadness

Postby Redwahine » Sun Dec 01, 2013 1:30 am

I have not been able to sleep. I had the most wonderful day celebrating Thanksgiving yesterday (Saturday) with my aunt, her daughter (my cousin), her DH and all their kids & grands. Turkey and all the sides. Lots of laughter and singing. We got back to our coach at the RV park and I got a call from my sis-in-law. She was at her brother's in No Cal. My brother was home alone for Thanksgiving. The neighbors were concerned because he wouldn't answer thee door. They called the police and the door was knocked down. Friday, my brother was found dead, looking peaceful like he was asleep on the couch. No idea what happened. He had just turned 60. I'm in shock. We are still headed to DisneyWorld tomorrow, but I don't know how to move forward. I know my bro would want me to have all the fun that I had planned, but that's a tall order. Probably won't be online for awhile. Aloha, Red

Oh Red, what a horrible tragedy... I'm so sorry for the loss of your brother--at such a young age....Though you won't be online for a while, I hope that you will be comforted by all the love & support you're getting from our forum family when you do get around to reading/posting again.

To all others, I hope you have a great day--with again a sad reminder that we enjoy and appreciate what we have....everyday...
