Happy Thanksgiving Everyone !!! I'm heading for warmer climates !! Anyone know where that might be ??? Had to cancel all my visits I usually do this time of year. Love my diesel RV, but really need an engine heater for these temps. It's on the list ! :o

It's been years since I've spent T day with just Maggie and I, but hey we're on the road so everything's ok. One thing I will not be over stuffed today D I do have homemade turkey soup which better suits me in this weather.

Time to move on, wondering if Chris and my path might join up along the way south ? I'm heading for I-10 to 75. Lake Wales is not all that warm either, but that's our destination for now. Not sure where our stopover will be tonight.

Have a great day all,
CArol :)

Happy Thanksgiving All, I too am thankful for this forum and all the wonderful friends I've yet to meet in person and those few I have met. (It is not freezing here) The Thanksgiving "run" is going down Market Street right now. Beautiful blue sky and white fluffy clouds.
Stay safe. lyn

Well..Trying to think up some profound words in reference to today ... but they've all been said by you all... so of course I wish everyone the happiest of Thanksgivings... and as everyone has said... take the time to count your blessings & concentrate on the good things in your life.... let the garbage stuff go ... it doesn't help the spirit... so with that, I will try to take my own advice.. wishing good vibes for everyone, especially those in the armed forces who are separated from their loved ones while they guard our freedoms... say a prayer for them please...
God Bless everyone... have a terrific day ~~~~ :D

Quiet day for me. Left Anza Borrego SP and moved to Salton Sea Rec area. Not many flies and weather is perfect--72 and sunny. There are only four full hookup sites in this Mecca campground and three are filled with a large family group that come here every year. Great view, and good cell and satellite service, so will relax and maybe get some work done.

Hope everyone has a peaceful and pleasant day, with or without family!

I took my dad over to my brother's for Turkey Day. It was a nice, pleasant gathering. Unfortunately, I woke up with a bad cold, and no matter what I took, I continued to sneeze the whole time there. :( Once I got home, I was able to take a nap for a couple hours.

I changed my mind about fighting the crowds for that kayak early tomorrow morning (mostly because of how bad I feel with this cold) and ended up buying airline tickets to Florida with the money, instead. Yay! :D So I will be in Florida the last week of January and will be able to spend a day or two at the big GTG near Tampa! Double Yay! :D :D

Hope you all had a good, relaxing, fun day and ate lots of good things!

What a wonderful Thanksgiving is right...her cooking hasn't killed me yet. Vickie's sister is great. Can't imagine what happened to Vickie.

Is her cooking keeping you up? I fell asleep early for me and now I'm up. Thanksgiving is good but too much food. It was suppose to freeze again here but it has gone up one degree from 34 to 35.

As a matter of fact, I had several bouts of Vickie's Cooking Intestinal Distress last night. Sometime after midnight, I ran out of water in the Mobile Marlin, so I ended up having to go in to the house to use its facilities (trailer is still winterized.) I'm sure whatever caused it was NOT her sister's or niece's cooking...so, that leaves You-Know-Who.

Didn't get to sleep until after 5:00 - just couldn't get warm after hopping out of bed so much...

Our friends are leaving us today - Tina is heading westward and Nan is heading to her Real Life Duties back in Florida. It's been a really nice visit. Nan fixed Beth's special wine glass I brought (and broke) for her. However, I noticed last night, mine was also broken in a way that can't be fixed (they both fell out of a shifted cabinet)...I guess Beth won't have a special wine glass.

Why do I think you're talking about me "Beth" and not Vickie's Beth ... lol - I didn't know you had any special wine glasses - so I'll survive ... make sure YOU have a good one.

Why aren't you unwinterized yet?
