Me again ladies also I have spoken with Linann and I will be cooking donuts for us all one morning, I will when we get closer to the day of camping need a head count so I can make sure I have enough for everyone. and yes Linann chocolate icing and maybe cream cheese as well Can you all tell I am excited to be meeting you? Yeah! Homemade donuts with chocolate icing was tempting enough, and now maybe cream cheese. Don't tease!

Linann- Awww come on you can trust me. and yes there will also be donut holes. last time I made them at work I cooked 40 donuts and holes and did not have any left over. Soos and grannynmaggie I really hope you can make it also. Brendac did you get to extend your stay? Hope everyone has a happy Thanksgiving. Karen, Precious and Little Girl (my 2 fur babies)

I think we are all in Loop C, but it really doesn't matter because the campground is small enough to easily walk between the loops.

It would take 2 hours to get to the the Back Porch, if it is the one in Lake Alfred. Nice place but not for that distance. Let's try and find some thing closer. Looking forward to another GTG..but hope the weather is good.

Agree, surely there will be a good local restaurant. Maybe, seafood?

Eating leftover goulash from the Hillsborough GTG and sipping the Wild Berry Pinot from Keel & Curley. Did you know it is part of Harvest Hosts? Louise logged into her account and showed me the locations in FL and GA. I think it would be worth the membership fee if I can talk DS into staying at some of them. Since she doesn't drink, she can be the designated driver!

I believe she said it is the "Front Porch" Restaurant (and Pie Shop!), and that is in Dunnellon, not too far from there.

I might just have to go back down to Florida for this GTG too! My friend Cathy said that the Rainbow River is gorgeous! Crystal clear water!

Barbie, We're still water logged (and some may still be under the influence of the Recipe). Thanks for pointing out that the Front Porch and Pie Shop in Dunnellon is nearby. It is only 3 miles from Rainbow Springs SP.

Hello ladies, it is getting closer. glad that the restaurant is closer even gladder someone is sober and noticed. haha. So do we have any idea how many of us there will be? I have Nan and Janine visiting me and we have had a blast. Fixed them Chicken and dumplings on friday and they said it was good. well actually I fed 7 people and we sure had fun. So looking forward to meeting all of you there. And yes Linann still making donuts haha KarenS

There are only three rigs signed up right now that we know about, but you never know. There are five nice sites available if anyone one wants to drop over for Sunday night. Rainbow SP has nice large, gravel sites. No mud pits here. Anyone who saw our site at Hillsborough knows what I am talking about. We barely got out.

Back to food . . . Karen, I am holding you to those donuts. Margie, you will not believe it . . . Keel & Curley belongs to Harvest Hosts!!!
