Monday Morning @ Red Bay

Good morning everyone. I hope all our friends in that storm are OK and staying warm and safe. Just another Monday at the Tiffin Service Center in Red Bay, AL. AKA Camp Red Bay (CRB). It took 1 1/2 days of driving to get up here from the gtg in LA. We arrived here yesterday along with 20 other coaches getting in queue for service. The water is shut off for the whole camp ground because of the low expected temps (mid 20s) over the weekend. I had read on the Tiffin forum that was happening so filled up the fresh water tanks accordingly. They do have water available over at the wash sites. Those water spigots have defrosters on them!! So if you need water, you can drive over and fill up. It is in the 30s all day today. Right now we are in the service bay and they have dismantled our whole dashboard. Didn't know just replacing the the decorative plastic pieces meant taking all the instrumentation out and reconnecting everything. It might be more than just a day here at CRB Really want to be heading south Even though Bob Tiffin is providing a huge turkey dinner for all those stuck here for the holidays. Can't wait to see Anita and Carolb at Disney World and anyone else in the area. Stay warm, dry and safe. Aloha

Good Morning from Ocala… very nice day here… I have not seen tv so have no idea about the weather…
My daughter and her husband are gone now on a short vacation then they drive home… John drove the whole way… I was very sick on Sat… could not keep anything down… but am better now…

Kathleen - glad you made it to FL and feeling better.
Red - What is your route from Red Bay to FL? Weather to clear and start warming back up by Wednesday.
My goal for the day is simply to stay warm, pay a few bills, maybe try to find some batteries for the WiiFit - I've put the weight back on that I lost this summer, not good. Have not been moving enough and too many pumpkin muffins.
Dentist tomorrow and eye appointment on Wednesday.
Hope you are not in the path of this nasty storm.

At 9 here in my part of northern Ca it's still only 45 degrees but I sympathize with those in cooler climes. They started install of our new heat/AC this morning. I am off soon to Curves then pick up bird seed and a couple of things while hubby stays busy watching the workmen. Last time we had to do this he was at work each day so now it his turn to watch. Ours is a geo thermal unit so a bit more involved than the usual.have a good day all.

Kathleen so glad you are in FL near friends for the winter, take care and I hope you can get out an enjoy the warm weather, it is cold back here in Illinois! Good luck at the dentist Sarah I hope they get you all fixed up so no more pain!
