Yep, the wind, rain and chilly temps are arriving here today....so we'll hunker down and try to keep warm and dry....Slept until 7:15am... ;) It's so nice to get a full night's sleep....

Finished the bed size afghan yesterday and it's on the bed....

Looks like a good time was had by all at the Crawfish place....I'm stuffed and all I did was to look at the pictures.... :o

Now the gals have moved on to Vickie & Ronnie's place....keep the photos coming, along with the stories....

Okay, need more coffee and the Sultan is making pancakes today...so help yourselves.... ;)

Stay warm, dry, and safe today, all....

Mornin Lori and all that follow. Wish I was as creative as Lori - would love to quilt, crochet & things, but never had a teacher. Maybe it's something I can learn to pass evening time when camping.

Hope everyone has a great day no matter where you are. Stay safe & happy in your travels.

68F degrees here in Melbourne FL, thick clouds and freshening winds, I just pray it doesn't snow!

Good morning everyone. We left Houston and drove through the storm to LA. Really enjoyed meeting Liz and Nan. I bought Liz's inflatable kayak and now ready for some water activities! Martha was at the campground as well. Carolyn and Gloria came over and drove us all to crawfish town. Loved all the crawfish. Loved the fun and laughs with 5 forum friends (Liz, Nan, Martha, Gloria and Carolyn). It was the best!! We left LA and headed north as the temps kept dropping and dropping. It is currently 27 outside. We will take a leisurely 2 hr drive further north to Red Bay today after the sun has warmed us up a bit. Keeping our fingers crossed they'll get us in and out fast so we can head down to Orlando ASAP!! Everyone stay warm and safe. Aloha.

Morning everyone,

A bit of sun peaking through the snow clouds this morning. Supposed to have more snow showers today. A blustery and snow day yesterday, about 4-6 inches of white stuff out there now, so winter has come to stay. Will haul out shovel later, not going to do too much as more is coming anyway. Will be heading out to get morning paper in a bit and then stay inside for day.

Touch up painting on kitchen soffits on agenda for today as well as hanging up a couple of things on wall, throwing turkey in oven and let it cook this afternoon, not really much doing otherwise.

Christ, they should give you your own bay up at Red Bay for as much as you are up there  I think I missed something, what are you going up there for now? Hopefully the storm won't mess your plans to get t Orlando. Looks like it's going to impact quite a large area of the eastern U.S. Sounds like everybody had fun down in LA. Keep hunkered down though as that storm is a nasty one.

Lori, glad you finally got your quilt done, but it's big relief to you. Course I'm sure there are a number of us who want pictures :)
Also glad you are starting to get a good nights sleep these days.

Time to get out of jammies and into some warm duds to go get the paper. Have a wonderful day all, keep safe if out traveling and enjoy those GTG's everyone.

good morning ladies
well our rain is suppose to stop around noon and the sun will come out :D maybe I'll warm up a little.
Did some cleaning up on my shelves, the swamp cooler from summer really had a lot of nasty dust up there. Just one more reason
I can hardly wait to get out of here, the dirt and dust is simply not healthy.

More tidying up around here today and some items packed up for goodwill. Mostly clothes I don't wear anymore. Sorting through my
bathroom products today as it seems I have a lot of stuff there too that I just don't need or are old and smell.

Enjoying all the gtg threads lately, dreaming of the day I'll be right in there meeting up with ya'll along the way. :D
Ya'll have a great day, be safe and be warm.

This is the continuation from our visit in July. The tech lost control of the router when he was cutting a whole in the dash board for the button to adjust the newly installed steering stablizer. Messed up the dash board. So the parts finally came in to replace the dashboard. Also there were dings in the stainless steel refrigerator doors and they ordered new ones. So all the parts are here and hopefully it'll only be a day and we'll head south. They sure treat you like royalty and stand behind their product and I like the little town of Red Bay. Bob Tiffin is providing a nice Turkey dinner for all the RVers that are stuck here for the holidays :P But, I'll say I wont be sorry if this is our last trip to CRB (Camp Red Bay). Disney is calling my name.

Kathleen,

Glad you have arrived. Have your toes started thawing after all that cold weather up north?
