so when I first got Shadow he didn't come up on the bed then he did when I went to bed...now he will go to his kennel and then join me later on but on the other side of the bed..recently he has opted for the couch think it's been cold and the couch is warmer who knows!!! and now when he comes to bed it's not across on Larry's side it's as close as he can get to me! makes it hard to roll over amazing how much weight 20 pounds is when you want to roll over

I loved your story and can relate to all of it, only one dog though. I, too, thought you were leading up to telling us you had another fur baby.
