Yes, Mitch, I'm thinking of heading south. It was down to 23 here today, not very coastal Pacific Northwestery. We're supposed to be protected from cold weather on the coast, well, the worst of it, but I'm a bit inland...in the path of Mt. Rainier if it wants to blow. We have lahar siren warnings once a month, first Monday, 12 noon!

AH!

Mighty Mt. Rainier!

Definitely on my list of volcanoes to visit next year! 8-)

Welcome from Texas. I grew up in Seattle and went to UofW. I miss the green but not the cloudy days. I need to take a trip to the northwest - haven't been home in over twenty years. When I started RVing in a 30's Class C and towing I had two very good pieces of advice; drive the front end and the rest will follow you and SWING WIDE. I would add to that, Don't back up.

Thank you all again for the welcomes! I'm getting more comfortable with Bessie, the RV, and we picked up the RV from Camping World yesterday with the tow package (and satellite, yes!). Drove with the car in tow, went really well. I was sweating that. As retired happy said, drive the front end and the rest will follow. It did, the little car... :-)

Now to figure out how to get an Avatar and pics on here. Please, please tell me I don't have to post to Photobucket and then upload code.

Welcome from SoCal! Let me know if you head south, driveway is open until the Baja Babes get back from parts unknown to get their cars. Heading to Quartzsite next week for the big rv show...you should come! We have loads of fun!
