Good morning all! :D

So Lori, are you out chasing "Rover" Or maybe getting some needed sleep....

Sis left yesterday, & bro & I are packing up to leave this morning. I'll drop him at Orlando train station, then move on down the road to gtg with Soos--at her son's place in St Cloud. Really looking forward to that!!

Yes, thanks to ??? ISON is the name of the comet. Thanks for more info. Sorry, in a bit of a rush this morning, so I don't remember who posted that

Off for more coffee, so y'all have a great day & be safe always! 8-)

Good morning everyone...had to go get some comfort food yesterday (cheese cake) after I found a
leak on the rig...I don't think it is going inside..it is on the over cab on the passenger side...
took it to RV repair shop they wanted to over $300 to caulk around the area...no money
for that.... so I picked his brain and he told me what to do and how to do the repair myself..
so that is what I am going to do...Got some Dicor and silicone caulk and when it dry's out that
will be a job in the next couple days... we got 5-6 in. of rain in two days...today no rain ( I hope)
so will clean rig.,...got kind of dirty tracking in wet sand and such..didn't realize you would be in
St. Cloud Carolb ...I would have made a day trip to visit with you and Soos..I am only about 45min
away...maybe next time...I am in Melbourne on the coast...
have a safe and wonderful day...donna ;)

Good morning everyone. We are suppose to be leaving. However, thunder, lightening, rain and wind might give us a slow start. The sooner we get on the road, the sooner we will be driving away from this stuff. It's headed NE and were headed E. If I could just convince DH to get up and get going. Everyone have a great day. Alaoha

Good morning from LA. Wishing you safe travels, Chris. I'm looking forward to meeting you. Nan and I plan a run to Walmart this morning, not much else.

I'm here, just taking my time to wake up and drink my coffee...Rover was taken to the local "no kill" shelter and is in good hands now...hope they find his owners or a nice "forever home" for him...

I did get to sleep til 7:15am today...Spinner got his "Daddy-dog" to take him for his morning walk....Plan to finish that bed size afghan today after I get the routine stuff done....

Sunshine today and a warmer day forecast...so will open windows and the door to air things out....

Okay, better stop and get started..

Have a great day, all....

Good Morning
Tina arrived yesterday afternoon. We had a great time just visiting and watching the dogs run off leash in back yard. Poor Tina ends up playing Guinea Pig on my relatively rare cooking attempts when she visits - a new soup last night.

A mini gtg for lunch planned for today at City Cafe Diner. Wendy (readytogo) will come up from Birmingham, Paulette (PMRisher) a new member from Huntsville, Darlene, and of course Tina and me are gathering for food and gab session. Hopefully we will not scar off our new member. I have camera battery on charger, now if I can remember to take it along, there will be pictures to share.

Have a great day.

Donna, Dicor self leveling caulk, yes. Silicone, NO. Do not use any silicone product on your roof! Easier than caulking, or in addition to it, I highly recommend Eternabond, which has an rv roof tape that is really easy to use and works.

Don't pay attention to that Sarah persons editorial about her cooking... :) Dinner was just fine. I do think eating healthy foods and new combinations does take an adjustment of our taste buds. It is like trying an ethnic restaurant and realizing that this stuff is tastee but different!

And all these dogs sleep very well last night after their romps in Nicky's yard, chases around his living room, and short naps on his couch.... He is the best host! :)

Good Morning to All from warm very cloudy and gray Hermosillo. I was up for a couple of hours during the night so am just poking around this morning. We're only going 100 miles to day to San Carlos but a bunch of it is through the city of Hermosillo. Hate that - lots of traffic, narrow streets, topes and trucks and buses. Ugh. Maybe I'll try to film it. If I can do that and watch signs at the same time.
Rained a little last night - just enough to spot the windshield Bill cleaned after we got here yesterday. And supposed to be showery for a couple of days.
I'm using my TelCel stick for Internet working great. Once I remembered how to bring it up that is.
All of you traveling in the states take care.

Good morning, I sure would like to be in Huntsville today but just got Elsie out of the repair shop Wednesday night and Thursday morning to the rv place to be winterized. Waiting for them to call and say she is ready :( Meanwhile I've ordered a pair of shoes to cheer me up and checked out the winners of Garden and Guns magazine annual Made in the South Awards contest. The first place winner was Southern Craft Creamery ice cream !! http://www.southerncraftcreamery.com/ It is located in Marianna, Fl and since so many of you are in or heading for FL might want to check it out. They are hoping to have shipping available by Dec. 1 so if anyone does try it please post a review.
Happy day to all!

I'm getting loaded up to head over to the campground. Shouldn't take much to just spend the night. Of course I'll think of 10 stops to make on the way. Red might make it from Houston before I make 50 miles.

See you all this afternoon.

Almost ready to go, just a few things to do. Only going 150 miles, so I'm not in any big hurry. After tomorrow morning I'll probably be out of any kind of range to get on-line, so just in case, hope everyone has an awesome Thanksgiving! Travel safe and stay warm!

X 2 on the eternabond. Google it - it gets rave reviews.

OK, so far I have heard about cheesecake and shoes. I may make some banana nut bread today since I have all the ingredients and don't want the bananas to go bad. Banana nut bread is one of my comfort foods!

It's raining in the desert today and bit chilly, so this will be an inside day with my little electric heater going. Actually, I do not mind rain in the desert because I am sure the plants and animals need it badly. I am enjoying watching the little birds scurrying around on the ground looking for food. My desert walk can wait until tomorrow.

Got to refill some prescriptions today and order some gifts for Christmas, plus my never-ending grading of papers, so will have lots to keep me busy as I watch TV.
