Poor baby I don't know how long Winnie was trapped in this bag but she was standing very still and hadn't made a sound when we found her. I had put the bag on a kitchen chair to take it out to the garage and got side tracked. Michael came in from the store and found her.

Was she stuck or was she just making sure she didn't miss anything? Or maybe she thought you couldn't see her since her head was in there and she couldn't see you?!

I assume it is her behind sticking out of the bag.

Sometimes my cat will stick her head in a small bag and then runs around the room running into everything! Very funny! Of course, I don't let that go on too long, just until I can finally stop laughing!

Poor baby I don't know how long Winnie was trapped in this bag but she was standing very still and hadn't made a sound when we found her. I had put the bag on a kitchen chair to take it out to the garage and got side tracked. Michael came in from the store and found her.

Um. . . the dog food that I buy comes in a a bag that is very shiny and looks like aluminum (I have larger dogs, thus larger dog food bags, than in this photo). It is almost impossible to tear the bag, even when I am opening it for the first time - I usually have to cut it open with scissors or a knife.

Last summer on a hot day I hear a funny noise, and go to find one of my dogs (just like in the photo) struggling head-first inside of the dog food bag. When I extricated her from the bag she was clearly overheated, shaking and panting heavily, almost gasping.

Had I not been home at the time she likely would have died.

Do a Google search. Unfortunately, this is happening fairly frequently.

Poor Winnie. I know how dangerous bags can be, but knowing she's safe and fine ... must admit it's funny!

Thanks Mitch, Those are original to the house built in the late '50's.

I know sacks can be dangerous, a friend of mine's big lab died in a Frito bag! Winnie wasn't at all stressed and the top and bottom were open. I don't know how she opened the bottom up like that she has so few teeth!
