Good mornin' everyone. Chilly Sunday expected in northeast Illinois today. No major plans here today other than maybe some remote work and giving Molly a bath.

Hope everyone on the road is safe and your forecast wherever you are is Sunny. Have a good day everyone.

good morning ladies, up early this am, slept good and I feel rested and ready to tackle the day. Didn't make my drive out to the rv
yesterday as the freeway was closed when I got ready to go due to a fatal accident. Will do that today. Thats about all thats on my
agenda for now.
Ya'll have a great day and be safe.

Skipped the 11th hour of work tonight (last night - never know how to put that lol) ... so glad that I'm in a position that what is mandatory for the regular employees isn't for me. Today was my Friday ... so after I go to bed, when I get back up will have my 2 days off coming. Hopefully I don't sleep completely through the first one :) But nothing really planned, other than to relax, shop for my lunches for the next week ... yep, borrrrring

Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday.

Oh, I ordered a new hot water tank (my tank has a leak) and it came, and now I can't get hold of the mobile repair guy who's supposed to come out and replace it. I can't remember if he said anything about not being around the end of the week ... might have. So I'll wait and try calling him again on Monday. Not a biggie - as the old one is working, but I just want it done!

Good Morning those few who are on MC today. We had a beautiful, fantastic "red sky in the morning" sunrise this morning!!! The sun is out now and a few fluffy clouds in the sky. Don't know what that holds for the Chargers game today. I'll be over at the daughters with her gang to watch it. Have a great day! lyn

Good Morning to All - Another sunny day in Las Vegas. Bill just fixed us breakfast - I actually slept in this morning till almost 9:00. We put our friends from Indiana on the plane yesterday afternoon - so they are home in cold weather. They were going to spend the night at our house - Haven't heard any yet so all must be okay there.
Yesterday morning Bill was pulling some stuff out of the storage under the slide and twisted his back. OUCH - leg was numb for awhile - says he feels better today. Hope so. Last time he did that he had to have back surgery.
No plans for today, laundry and watching race. Tomorrow morning we'll be leaving for Arizona.
Stay safe in your travels if you're on the road and enjoy your day if you are home or parked

Lazy Sunday afternoon here… so much going on and here I sit bummed out with the infection taking all of my limited strength.
No Beth whatever you do is not boring! Ava have you looked far enough ahead to know when you will move back into your rv?
Got cranberry pills that the pharmacist recommended so after the antibiotics are finished will start them.
On to other things now…
Take care everyone and have a super good day

My sister and I headed out for Texas yesterday afternoon. We spent the night in Livingston. I forgot Red was at the Escapees park until after we stopped. I have never been there and didn't want to find it in the dark. Tonight we are at the KOA in San Antonio. My sister wants to see the Alamo and River walk. Guess we will do some touring tomorrow if she can do all that walking.

We had lunch at the mexican restaurant in Round Top. When we are in Texas it seems all roads go through Round Top.

I decided to ignore my to do list today.
called a couple of friends, both of whom have lost husbands recently. We went to an antique mall open house then to a late lunch. Enjoyed seeing both of them again and just getting out for a while.
It is a nice day - temps in 70s with sun but I cannot seem to get warm. One more day of very nice warm weather then the bottom will drop out - lucky to make 50s by mid week. Not ready for winter to hit.

Sarah, was one of them Darlene? How's she holding up. I so worry about her! And hello to you, too!

yes, Beth one of them was Darlene. I think she is doing about as we'll as might be expected at this point. I was glad she was willing to go out. The other lady was my dog sitter exchange friend, Donna who lost her husband about 16 months ago. The three of us plus my cousin and another lady used to meet for lunch on regular basis for several years but quit a couple of years ago due to family problems and illness. We decided today to try to put our little group back together.

It would be good if you could do that. You know how hard it is, especially at the beginning. I'm glad Darlene agreed to come out with all of you.
