I really like the idea of this. If they were making these now (the video seemed rather old) I might have gone with it instead of my van. My "normal" car is a Chevy Aveo (which I love). It is not much larger than the beetle.

However. . . (always the practical side) in the video the beetle seemed rather tilted to the rear, indicating a lot of weight back there. I would be concerned that the towing car's suspension was not up to the task.

A blowout in this kind of setup (or any setup, really) would not be good.

Nice video to look at, though.

I suspect the roof is not really strong enough to handle that kind of weight. All the front weight of the trailer is resting on the four roof pillars and normally those are not strong enough even in a rollover. You would really have to beef it up to make it really strong enough. Love the parking, however. Even I could handle that trailer!
