Give-N-Go Travel underwear

Has anyone ever seen or tried these? Saw them while browsing in an outfitters store. Bought one pair to try. Comes in different styles. Claims they hand wash and dry in just 2-4 hours. They also make bras and tank tops of the same material.

Pricey little things, aren't they? :(

I guess it would kinda defeat the purpose, but is there a cotton crotch?

I think my nylon underwear dries in 2-4 hours also. How expensive are these?

Much of the quality travel and camping equipment is pricy. I went into REI a couple weeks ago and almost had to have oxygen delivered as most of the prices took my breath away. But if you are traveling and want and need lightweight warmth, easily washable, breathable materials, etc....they have it. I also found it very interesting as one of the reasons I stopped in was because they were having a "Garage Sale". Everything was marked with a clear comment as to why it was in the sale or had been returned. One pull over was returned because it was worn and pilled.....another jacket had been returned due to a broken zipper another because of some slight staining..... So...what I gathered is exactly what my daughter had tried to tell me a couple of years ago when she talked me into purchasing a pair of Chocko's....the stuff cost way to much but if it ever wears out or gets messed up in anyway you bring it back and REI replaces it.... :) ...Somehow I can't see wanting to purchase used underwear any more than I was tempted to purchase that pilly shirt....

That is what panty liners are for...

I had some underwear (still have them, I think) without a cotton crotch. Panty liners wouldn't stick.

They have an Aegis Microbe Shield, which is part of Microban International, according to the website.

well, I kept looking for a sentence in that ad that stated how many undies in a pack for that $18, ummmm
my 6 pack of hanes cottens are half the price of ONE
I always guessed drying time depended on the weather and where you hang them

I have friends that back pack thru Europe every couple of years...they swear by these. I wish I had known about them when I was cross country riding on the motorcycle.

I thought it was pretty interesting....Never know when you might need something like this. Guess if we can talk about poop, pee and used TP we can talk about underwear! :D
