Just adding my wishes to everyone else...hope you have a great birthday. I know everyone has said thank you for the website, etc., and I agree, however, I want to thank you for the opportunity to educate myself through this website. It has helped many a bad day to see someone else has the answer to my rv problem and even personal problems. We all benefit so much from each other and it's all because you took the time, had the knowledge & created a connection for so many of us...All I can say again & again, is thank you so much for more than you'll ever know....

Reading so many of the responses, Beth, made me think of one of your best abilities.....besides setting up the forum and paying due diligence to technical issues, you have demonstrated the ability (rarer still) to step back, get out of the way and let the forum become itself. You treat members as adults (okay and we often play with the silly children that still lives inside us...) but you never come across as "It is my forum and my opinion is the only one that matters..." You let the forum belong to anyone interested enough to post and well behaved enough not to trash one another. You provide us room to stumble and apologize when as humans we sometimes miss speak. You have helped create an environment that only asks of us to participate as we are comfortable at any given time. Most of us have lived long enough and in enough work, social (and family) situations understand that this is a special place.....

Then again laughter is also bubbling up - I really do want to know how you learned about my stinky feet - and if you don't have to get that close, just how do you know the stink is from my FEET? Eh, Mitchiepoo.

And, yes, I started my birthday at work ... home and slept ... will be back at work to end it ... so, CANNOT WAIT for Baja and the beach and doing nothing ... absolutely nothing ... well maybe except for helping Mitch look for Pedro. (She'll abandon me when she finds him; I'm prepared.)
