Beautiful hotels in Las Vegas

Postby asirimarco » Wed Nov 06, 2013 11:33 am

Walked around some of the hotels in Vegas yesterday. Our friends haven't been here for years so it was mostly new to them. It was fun and the weather was nice. Took a bazillion pictures - hard to sort them out for the blog post. http://lifeinbrowncounty.blogspot.com

What interesting choices the designers made!

The first time my parents ever happened across Vegas, my mother fell in love with the place. She watched the gambling and enjoyed the dinners and the shows. The first night they were there, my father got tired and wanted to leave, but Mom and her sister were still looking at everything. "In a little while, honey. They'll close soon."  She had a great time, even after she realized the casinos don't close!

Pictures are really beautiful.... but all I can think of is how those hotels paid for all that splendor...obviously from the losses of gamblers... so I don't gamble anymore as it's a given that the stakes are wayyyy against me.. but thanks for sharing....
