Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Wednesday WOW

Postby carolb » Wed Nov 06, 2013 7:12 am

Good morning all! :D

A beautiful early morning here for hump day. And another day closer to my departure. Will get propane today, fill fresh water tank a bit, check air in tires & do a final clean of the HarBor...

Kathleen, I'm so glad your kids are finally coming around to help you get ready & drive with you to FL! Looking forward to seeing you & everyone else down there! Irmi, glad you'll be able to get down there earlier this year. The three of us will be neighbors there in/near Ocala :D Although this year I'll spend more time with my 95yo aunt in Brooksville, but still that's not far away...

Off for more coffee & there's still some left for y'all. Have a great day & be safe always 8-)

Yes the morning is starting out nice. I went yesterday to visit some friends in The Villages. I am waiting for the man that is tinting the windows on my car to come and then I will be going to Hobby Lobby or Michaels to get the rest of my supplies for a weaving technique that I want to learn.

I am enjoying the warm weather after my daughter said it was cold in Maryland.

I would like to gtg with you ladies whenever we can arrange it, even if it is just lunch somewhere. As long as you are within two hours of me, I am have no problem making the drive.

I am only booked here until Jan 24, I can stay longer but I really want to move by then. Anyone have any ideas of where there might be a place for me for February and March.?

Morning, Carolb, and those who follow....

Still damp and gray in SE GA, but suppose to see the sun soon....

Spinner got his booster yesterday and the Lime Disease test still shows positive, but the Vet agreed with us to give it a month or 2 and have him tested again since he isn't having any symptoms so we'll repeat in Feb. when we get to Ft. Stewart....

Have to do laundry today.... but other than that, nothing special planned for the day....

Made another pot of coffee to share....toaster is ready for you all...

Have a great day, all..

Lori, Roe when I had him always tested positive for Lyme. He was treated the first two timess with antibiotics. After that the vet decided it was a "chronic" condition, and did not attempt to treat it again. He never had any symptoms during the 10 years I had him.

Hump day  Quick note to say hi before I head to 2 Dr. appt and PT. I'm getting ready to go to driving school this weekend. I'm taking RED to Escapees park in Livingston for 2 nts this weekend. It is their annual Boot Camp. We went last year when we had the 5th wheel. This year I'll have driving lessons, 4 hrs Sat & 4 hrs Sun, while the others are at the boot camp sessions :P I'm anxious and excited at the same time. :? Everyone have a great day and stay safe. Good morning ladies,

A wet and windy morning here, no sun. Still mild but temps are expected to drop. Barbara Rose, hope you didn't get all the snow they predicted for your area. And yes, with the leaves on the trees, it can be a dangerous thing with falling trees and limbs. It's happened here and I'm thinking that with the way the weather conditions are anymore, it is going to happen more often. The trees are pretty bare in this area here, but a bit south of here, they are still on some of the trees and I understand downstate there are a lot of them yet.

I'm heading out to Hobby Lobby this morning too. Browsing and also picking up a few different craft paints and stuff for next sign making project while I am in the U.P. next month. Have a few ideas and just need to get the boards to do them with. want to get this stuff organized as time will fly between now and the day I leave in Dec.

Donna, you sound like you are really getting restless. Too bad you can't just hit and road and spend the winter traveling along the southern states, camping, sightseeing and visiting. Louise, glad to see you posting again.

Had neighbor come over yesterday and change a bulb in my outside security light. It's up at the peak of the garage and this gal's ladder climbing days, up that high, are over. Also bought a screw in motion sensor for my front floodlight by my one door and put that in myself as I just needed the stepladder for that. But I tell you, having to keep asking the neighbor for some help on some things and keeping things up around here, has got me thinking, you gals who are selling your S&B's have got the right idea.

Enough of that, time to get dressed and head to Hobby Lobby. I call it a dangerous place, for obvious reason. If you like any type of craft work, you may never get out of there

Good Morning

Nice weather start to the day here as well. Mild enough for me to enjoy my first cup of coffee on the porch at 6:30 AM. Rain moving in later today with yet another cold front so temps will drop again. No freezing temps in forecast but I need to get water out of Magic before that happens.

Doctors have decided to allow another two weeks for niece to heal from initial surgery before operating again to do extensive removal of lymph nodes. That will be followed by aggressive chemo treatments. Please continue to send healing thoughts for her.

Grocery shopping today and maybe tackle the leaves if I get thru before rain moves in. My new allergy medicine does not seem to be working any better that the old one so dreading getting into all those leaves. Young man who helps with the yard does not get off work before dark now or I'd have him come do this task.

I've fallen way behind welcoming new members to please accept this blanket "Welcome" and do consider putting yourself on the forum member map so those traveling might have chance to meet you face to face.

Kathleen so thrilled for you at getting to go to FL and that daughter is coming around to provide some support again.

I do hope you have a more interesting day planned than what mine will be.

Good Morning !! Overcast and rainy here too. Its ok, this area needs more rain and I have plenty of inside stuff to occupy me. Just hoping no snow until I'm ready to get out of here :(

Louise, I will be in Lake Wales soon. My daughter lives there and I always visit there this time of year. Not sure just yet, when I might get there, but will pm you my phone number and maybe we can get together. Would love to meet you.

Our morning post has sure perked up, so many joining in, mornings now. Nice !!!

Must get moving, hope all dr app. are going ok for everyone and Spinner too. Have a good day, push some fun in there somewhere,
Stay safe, whatever your plans,

CArol :)
Seems I posted same time as Sue and Sarah, reminded me that I wanted to tell Kathleen, that I am so happy she is going south to keep warmer this winter. I will see you there somehow, sometime, Kathleen. One more try to post, its ok, if someone else beats me in there though :D

Good morning! Definitely getting my workout in at the campground with lots of physical labor. Highs in the low 30s aren't helping. Just need a hot tub and a massage at the end of the day. I'm always tempted to drive south when the Workamper Hotline comes out. Arizona and Florida sound awesome right about now...

Happy mid-week!

When I was an undergrad, I had a professor who greeted the class every Wednesday by saying, "We have broken the back of the week." Great phrase! Of course, now that I don't have to go to work every day, it isn't particularly relevant -- but it's still a great phrase, yeah?

Red, I think the driving class sounds great! Keep us posted, ok?
